From my understanding, unlike previous games with this feature, the takedown tends to track the enemy and adjusts the kicking distance automatically as needed. If the enemy was closer then the kick wouldn't be as far; when there are no enemies the kick is very short ranged.
nah honestly i think the game was made with the female character in mind but considering the society we live in people would of complained XD seems like even the quotes were designed better for female character in this game tho
I think most people have the opinion female dani has better voice lines/ voice actor, I just choose the male characters in all my games cause im a guy.

The dlcs aren't super long so probably not. The game is fun on its own though so if you plan on playing both then it could be worth.

I feel like the male version shows way more emotion to the character and draws his lines so much better imo
