And that doesn't even include jj watt and tyron smith
Insane how good Mayock was at this. He had the Patriots with Ingram or Heyward
Man we got 2 high caliber player's in the first round in this draft. Cam Jordan is a monster to deal with for every team, and man do I miss seeing Mark in the black and gold, but I'm glad to see him kicking ass with one of the funnest to watch QB's in the league and enjoying himself!
“Rick Spielman is attached to the hip with this selection.” Nine years later he’s still the Vikings GM
Honestly surprised he never got fired for such an awful pick
Greatest draft of all time
83 draft has 4 qbs go to 11 superbowls son
Mikhail Washington top 3 2007 might be better
God I love our Dimtroft for trading up and getting the 🐐 Julio Jones
It was a no brainer tbh. Julio was destined to be a superstar since he was in highschool.
That move is what helped him keep his job because after this he was striking out in the draft
Never forget when the Eagles drafted a 27 year old Canadian Fireman with their first pick. Lasted 3 seasons in the league.
“You need to be patient on cam Newton” throws 400 in game 1 over 4000 yards on season and breaks record for rushing tds lmao
Both Julio and JJ are still so impactful to their franchises
Locker could've been solid but he said he had drinking problems and of course injuries hampered him.
Oh he had that kind of elbow problem.
I bought the 2011 Lindy's Draft Guide for entertainment on a flight to ho skiing in Colorado. I remember flipping through it with my buds and just being amazed at the amount of talent and arguing over who would draft who. Cool to flip through it today and see who right...and wrong that draft analysis needs were.
Ryan Kerrigan is the most underrated player in the NFL.
Bryce Wilson bc he plays for the redskins. LOL
Even as an eagles fan, i love this dude
I love ur logo
@@MrMeowMeows619 I come from the future. This statement is inaccurate, for the team name you mentioned does not register
My god this draft was loaded. Blue chip talent all around, especially those first 7 picks
Yup like 7 potential HOFs halfway through the 1st round
Ironic that von Miller had that HUGE game in the super bowl against the only guy that was drafted over him in the draft
Now Ryan Kerrigan is 6 sack from the redskins all time sack leader
Damn Nick Saban flamin his own player like that was real cold lol
I never realized how DEEP this draft class was until now... I'm not just talking about the first round either... 2nd round Andy Dalton, Kyle Rudolph, Randall Cobb... 3rd round Justin Houston, DeMarco Murray, Jurrell Casey... 5th round Richard Sherman... 6th round Dwayne Harris, Tyrod Taylor and Jason Kelce... DAMN!!!
Probably not a good sign for Seattle when Saban is shaking his head after you take one of HIS guys hahaha
One of the best first round draft classes I’ve never seen, hands down.
i like these types of videos nfl throwback can you do some more
Cam Newton, Von Miller, Julio Jones, Mark Ingram, AJ Green, Patrick Peterson, etc.. You can build a pretty good fantasy team with just this class. What a class!!!
Stacked draft
I still think it’s crazy that after a few years the first 2 picks of the 2011 draft would face off in the 50th super bowl
As a Vikings fan I remember getting hyped that we got ponder. We needed a franchise qb. Sucks it didnt work out :(
I'm a broncos fan first and Vikings fan second. I thought the ponder pick was terrible. I can't believe you actually believed that he was going to be a franchise QB. Or had the possibility to be one lol. The only cool thing about it is when the broncos played the Vikings it was Christian ponder versus the Christian ponderer lol.
Never realized how good this draft was
That was such a Browns move lmao nothing but Pro Bowlers going with the top 10 picks and they trade right out of Julio Jones
It’s crazy there was 4 or 5 hall of famers in the top 6 picks! Probably Cam, definitely Miller, Peterson, and Julio and possibly AJ Green.
Jake locker was so good it’s a shame injuries ruined his career early
Those first 6 picks were insane
Aldon Smith was the most talented player in this draft. He wasted so much talent. So sad to see someone struggle so much with their vices.
No its miller not even close
Juls c miller who?
Mane uhhhhh, Von Miller. One of the best defensive players in the NFL
@@manenavarro5572 Superbowl MVP Von Miller
That JJ Watt pick was a hit that’s for sure !!!!
Browns being the Browns passing on a generational WR. What did they do with those draft picks in the trade? Exactly. Lol
The had no QB, what they going to do with a great WR?
@Chandler Russell Warner and Palmer aren't bad. And Eli isn't even that bad as some think
You know the qb draft class was bad when Jake locker and Blaine gabbert are your best qbs coming in the draft
Moe Elder cam newton was there 😂 the class was still kinda bad
@@thepower_6680 lol you right I forgot about cam but yeah qb class was still bad
Everybody gangsta till the 8th and 10th pick QBs Show up
Seeing how all these guys started is kinda crazy especially when you hear the announcers doubting them
Didn’t realize how stacked this first round was
NFL Throwback, can you please continue to post these? I'd love to rewatch 2017 again. These videos are amazing to watch
