You know I really want to get into using natural cleaning products also. I actually have that as one of my projects "to-do" in my project binder. Love that you introduced your daughter to using it. I think it is so important to teach our children at a young age to care for their spaces. My mom did that with me and although as a teen I was not organized, when I became a adult it all stuck with me.

I have a great toothbrush tip. I was putting a effort into cleaning my bathroom vent fan. I was using the hand attachment off my vacuum and it worked ok. I would then take a damp paper towel and wipe and wipe and wipe. Lots of effort- for an "ok" effect. I used a new toothbrush and it worked awesome! It got between the slat and removed everything. I wiped it with a damp paper towel but it wasn't necessary. The toothbrush did it!
Almost a decade later and this is still wonderfully relevant! I have implemented this system and I can attest to the "shine factor" ; thank you very much Nikki! Wishing you and yours a joyous and fulfilling new year!
Great video Nikki! I started my own cleaning business about 6 years ago and use toothbrushes as well. I do like the idea of putting them in their own little cases. I'll have to do that. : ) I use different vinegar concoctions to clean people's houses...better for me (not breathing all those toxic fumes) and keeps their houses clean and shiny. Vinegar is a great disinfectant, sanitizer and deodorizer. And it makes faucets and mirrors so shiny! Have a blessed day!!
I had to stop the video at 8:09 and go scrub my light switches. I never thought to do that before. I wiped the plates, but never scrubbed the switches. I am so thankful to learn this from you. I also scrubbed my bath sink taps. Thank you!

Now if you have a high use faucet that you use everyday and water splashes a lot and marks it then you may want to get some windex wipes to kinda of wipe it down every other day or so. I was struggling to get my home back to its normal state after giving birth to a baby.Now as a mom of a toddler I have a cleaning schedule and clean my home only 1 hour a day 3 days a week when my husband takes our boy for a walk.Thank you!
