When something like that happens, it’s very difficult to explain to others how special that bond can be because only someone who has gone through that situation of caring for a creature as if they were family..can truly understand.
I think thats what she was trying to describe, its a special connection and bond that is very deep and its an acceptance that goes both ways.
Sometimes it takes an animal to really bring out our humanness.

I freed a baby deer from barbed wire. The mom was watching me the whole time as I detached her baby.

My wife brought home a doe that was caught in barbed wire. We kept her in our horses stall, fed her lambs milk. Kept Cleo in the stall until deer season was over. Then we released her. She was free, but stayed around our property having two sets of twins before she finally disappeared.
Does she let you pet her when you come over?

When I was a kid living in Alaska in the 60's, we had a neighbor down the road with a pet moose. They'd let it come in the house and hang out.

A beautiful lady with a beautiful heart.
It takes a wonderful human to save a precious creature, like Emma, and then let them be what they are supposed to be, in this case a moose. Emma would not have made it without this loving human and all the care she gave her, but now she looks so happy being a moose, with other wild animals. What a wonderful, happy life Emma will have. And she is just beautiful. What a sweet moose!

She is just beautiful. I am so glad that you took her in,she couldn't have a better Mom. I worked at a cat shelter for 2 years fostered and then adopted a special needs cat. They all give us unconditional love ascwe do to them. Way to go Mom!!!💕😀

My mom brought a pig home one time. We took care of it for a while until we could find a good home and my aunt took him lol still alive and fat and happy
When we were young boys in BC. My brother thought he was a chicken ,but we were afraid to tell him he wasn't because we needed the eggs . Eventually he found out and that was the end of them.

I was thinking the same thing. You would really have to be a miserable person to actually DISLIKE these vids. Ok, so maybe a particular story doesn’t do it for you or you’re not an animal person in general. Then just stop watching that vid & move on! But to click dislike when it’s meant to be a heartwarming, uplifting story? It’s just not right.

I was gonna say... imagine if emma still lived with Carola and someone broke into the house in the middle of the night, Only to find an angry moose charging at them rather than a dog 😂😂😂
Few people seems to be aware of this but, moose's are actually quite fierce and would never approach an adult. Still remember the first time I had a angry moose in my grandparents garden. Total havoc! 😂

I was working at a wild life park where they had 3 mooses in a habitat the male had keept his horns over the winter an was SUPER aggressive (charging the fence,headbutting it and grunting); or so we thought.. A week in to me beeing there he dropped one of the horns, the next day both had fallen of and it was a totaly diffrent animal :o.
He looked so dosile and he even let us pet him

So many of the people that have taken care of/nursed an animal or just in general adopted an animal usually recount how the decision drastically changed their live for the positive. I honestly feel like today's society is missing out on so many social aspects that millennia ago without them our species would have surely gone extinct.

@@RookieAssassin Yes they do recognise them ...would you not know your child? And mama knows where the baby was caught and i bet she came back many times hoping to find her. Glad it was a good outcome but would rather have seen her real Mom take care of her.
