Great video, much love and respect for the tutorial. I have one question I'm split mind on which one to get the Qoocam 8K vs Theta Z1? My need is mainly focused on real estate virtual tours. The Qoocam 8K price and image quality is very attractive compared to the Theta Z1 which is twice more expensive than The Qoocam 8K but not twice great. Am I missing something pls help?
dear hugh, what do you think about qoocam 8k vs mi sphere cameras for best photo quality. mi sphere raw or dng8 has nice detail for virtual tours ?? I love your always interesting videos. thank you so much for your nice help ...
Great videos as always, do you have a suggested workflow to get the best images out of the 360 One R. I know I need to shoot in RAW, and post edit. I tried using the HDR shooting in RAW but the camera won't let me control the ISO. I was thinking maybe to shoot in manual settings and create a bracketed image then, into Lightroom to adjust and merge images, then PTGUI for stitching. Is that what you might recommmend?
I would first try Nightshot to see if it get close to the quality you want. If not, then shot manual bracket multi-shots - 9 bracketed photos RAW. Then stitched in PTGui. Then merge in Photomatix - as Photomatix understand 360 photo so you can tone map it - which will give you the best result - also allow you to deghost if you have tree in the scene - this is really the same as DSLR workflow.
Very interesting, like this video very much. I'm new for this kind of cameras and VT so if my question is not proper please be mercy. I read that when the camera gets hot (or even warm) the focus changes from far objects to near ones or just makes blur photoes. What can you say about this? Is it that hard issue that makes impossible to work for big projects or it's been fixed somehow?
Yes. as the hot expend the lens module - so it will be out of focus a little bit. I believe the heat issue is solve those from new firmware. I will recommand always use FAN and external audio solution for Qoocam 8K. The Fan really help heat circulation
YES. That is a tutorial actually coming soon. But I will suggest right now using this workflow exactly - instead of like me manually capture HDR with Z1 - use the Dual Fisheye to capture and stitch (batch stitch is out from the new Lightroom Z1 plugin so it is REALLY EASY) - then merge with Photomatix - instead of like most of the other guides out there show you to merge first before stitch. As the Z1 plugin can not stitch merged HDR fisheye without crashing Lightroom - I think it is a adobe problem but still there is no certain solution out there - so best to follow my old workflow for rock solid professional looking result: th-cam.com/video/APDqW3eyJv0/w-d-xo.html
Hugh, thank you for the amazing reviews, learning so much! I am looking for a 360 for livestreaming indoor events. Which of these should I consider or is there another I should? I am wary of the overheating and shutting down reports of the Insta360 (after 20-40 minutes?!) that wouldn't' last for a whole event that is an hour or longer. I see that the QooCam and even the GoPro seem to be difficult with transferring files in terms of taking a long time. Any advice is appreciated!
Insta360 One X or One R is not for long hours livestream - I am sure you watch this already: th-cam.com/video/mn4A9cjh7RI/w-d-xo.html - if not you should. Your answer is in there. The most reliable 360 livestream camera RIGHT NOW is Labpano Pilot One. Then Qoocam 8K (Qoocam 8K Enterprise might change thing but it is not gonna be cheap).
Is there a big difference between the Qoocam 8K, Insta 360 One R and the Theta Z1 for virtual tours? I would prefer the Qoocam as it is more versatile and can be used for videos too, but am concerned about the heating and thermal defocusing issue.
Z1 is still the king in Photo quality - but QC8K get really close to it. I don't think One R cut it for virtual tours - but it integrated with Matterport. I think Q8CK is a budget option. Heat is not an issue as it is by design. The defocusing issue only happen to a small batch I think - as mine unit is fine.
At 7:06 you mentioned QC8K in sharper than Z1, but all the photos I take with it is blurry and 50% less sharper than Z1, do you have a better version of QC8K?
@@hughhou oh yea!! you are right Gopro one is not HDR. It is just protune. =] $5000 system is so amazing!! Hope they can make same quality modules to fit One R LOL.
Thank you Hugh. I appreciate all of your QooCam8K info. I continue waiting for updates to fix bugs before working to hard to dive into workflows as the workflows get better with each update.
I usually teach barebone knowledge that work on any camera - not only Qoocam 8K - like this tutorial - it is basically my HDR DSLR workflow - I tend to teach others do not rely on camera maker - they make great camera but not great software. As long as the ISP is great and the camera can shoot - you can do anything you want in post production and usually 10x better quality that camera maker own software lol.
Glad to hear that! I am not a Virtual Tour guy neither. Feel you. But do want to dip my toes in it as I only take the photos and someone else do the tour - and last thing I want these days is stuck in someone fancy house that is NOT mine and take photos for them for 3 hours - kill me lol. I rather be in somewhere in Africa taking 360 video with lions - photo skill are still an essential skill tho for 360 videographer :) As always, appreciated the LOVE! Stay safe in these crazy time.
So I want to buy the qoocam but have no experience in editing, this helped but I don't want to pay for my software.. Do you have alternatives for a android and pc work flow?
@@hughhou wow thats amazing! For virtual tours (the cheap version) would you think this is enough (besides the virtual tour software) or not proffesional enough?"
@@hughhou That's fine, I just can't find any help on realistic prices I should charge. I'm wanting to pursue this a full time business, as my new career. If you can suggest / include price ranges when you make the video I would greatly appreciate it. Even if I can't get the prices you charge, itll be something I can use to play with on the prices and see what works for me in my city.
I use Bracketing 9 in Z1 just to be safe and the HDR-DNG does not work good for me. When I have 9 DNG - I can merge them myself with powerful computer with Photomatix - that is actually my go to professional workflow. Stitch first then merge and avoid using lightroom to merge - so no ghosting or HDR artifacts.
I would love to see a 360 photo with the insta 360 with the 1" mod using a Panohead. The question is will the image be better than the insta 360 X2? Nobody has tried this yet.!!
Hi! - what a great tutorial -again :) - thanks for that. I just received my QooCam 8k and started of corse with super hdr - it works fine and I can see and import and work with the high quality final jpeg - But I just haven´t access to the different -3, 0 and +2 DNG exposed files. I just did the firmwireupdate to UOU235 and use the latest app version v.3.6.0 I tried with the sd card and with the internal drive in the qoocam 8k. When I connect the qoocam to my pc I can see in the PHOTO folder just the final jpeg of the super hdr workflow. I want really to do professional real estate with my new camera and so I need the access to the bracked express dng files so that I can tonemap those to my likings. Do you have a tipp what I might do wrong?
I think the latest firmware remove the DNG feature - please support request on Qoocam 8K facebook group and report this issue. You are not the only one suffer this problem - but more creator like me and you report this Kandao will fix this bug :(
I'm trying to decide between buying Theta Z1 and Qoocam 8K. I'm worried about the overheating problem on the Qoocam 8K. I've heard that they are working on a software fix, but if the hardware is prone to overheating, how much can a software tweak really do? On the other hand, I want to be able to record video, which needs lots more memory, and that is very limited on Theta Z1. What do you think?
Hi Katherine, the Overheat issue is not an issue. The camera will not overheat as it is a heat dispated built. For example, you run Qoocam 8K and Insta360 ONE R side by side, Qoocam 8K will NOT stop recording no matter how long it run (livestream for example as you saw my 2 hours long livestream and I have longer example), One R will OVERHEATED in 30 minutes. Overheat mean it stop the camera function - you can not record until it cool down. BUT, Qoocam get really hot in the body level so people confused it as "overheated" - you want the outside metal body to be hot so the internal stay cool. So the camera can continue to function in extreme environment. So if you worry about the "overheat" issue - it is not an issue. Qoocam 8K has the same body as Kandao Obsidian. But Qoocam 8K does has other issues lol. So you should watch my review here: th-cam.com/video/APDqW3eyJv0/w-d-xo.html Z1 is not a video camera. If you need video, you will need other 360 camera PLUS Z1 - but Z1 is also a great camera worth every penny. I hope that help :)
CreatorUp Some people say they get blurry images because of lens heating. A couple of moments ago I did a camera comparison and the qoocam 8k provided very blurry images compared to my z1 in a low(er) light situation. Maybe I also had a lens heating issue. Tomorrow I will do new tests and will upload the result to Facebook and my website. Looking forward to it.
Yes you can. When you see the "downlaoding to phone" text show up - you can move the camera - make sure your phone STAY CONNECT to your camera - meaning moving with the camera - see my new video what will happen if you don't: th-cam.com/video/d2DkUn-Gvcw/w-d-xo.html
Is it possible to reverse the desktop workflw. With HDR mode from PTGui merge and stitch the images. Export and then color correct and remove chromatic abboration and tripod? Thank you.
Yes that is actually the workflow I am going to teach in my next video re Z1 - if you can, stitch one by one first and merge with PTGui (if you know how - I think most of the users don't) - then do touch up in Lightroom. Go beyond that, stitch in PTGui but merge in Photomatix so you have auto selected CA removal and add sharpen back as all HDR look kinda soft but the sharpen is 360 aware so you don't have seamline - you can go pretty complicated but it does generate exceptional result.
It can stitch - as I mentioned the normal workflow work. But I am working in 16-bit TIFF. If you save as PNG and JPG from Lightroom after HDR merge - the Qoocam Studio will work normally. The issue is only happen in 16-bit TIFF file. They should fix that issue tho as it is a bug right now. If you do not use PTGui - there is no need to bother 16-bit TIFF as it is a professional workflow. Compared to all the advanced stuffs you are going to do with your image when you have 16-bit, the price of PTGui is very small. Photomatix mentioned here is also not free. Topaz Denoise AI is also not free. But all these tools are essential to create the absolutely best 360 photo final result. You will need to budget them correctly from your Virtual Tour cost - as this is a workflow aim for professionals. For not professional use, the mobile workflow work absolutely fine and you can even merge your SuperHDR directly with mobile app in your phone - no need to go to Lightroom or PTGui (or computer)
@@hughhou Thank you very much for the prompt and rather detailed reply. I am not a professional. I just want to make my travel photos more interesting. I have already invested in Luminar, Aurora HDR and Affinity Photo. I didn't want to incurr more experience. I think I have just made up my mind to buy the Qoocam K8 after this virus business is over and I can resume my travels. Thanks again.
I have Qoocam original... They could definitely develop a super HDR thingy for this one, they just don't bother... That's a big middle finger thrown at the original customers. Also, the insane chromatic aberration on the Qoocam 8k is a huge no-go for me... I think I will go for the Z1 instead. Thanks for the comparison.
Hi. How do you get the finished image "in Camera +" from the device on the Windows PC. How do you recognize the right picture? And how do you continue to use the image if Windows cannot read it? Thanks a lot.
It saved onto your phone. So you can go from Phone to PC. Also you can just connect the camera to your PC with the USB-C cable - choose Mass Storage in setting (pull down menu by sliding top edge downward). The camera then run as a SSD drive - pretty fast transfer as well (X5 time faster than Insta360 ONE R or GoPro MAX)
Yes. Directly from photo is not as good as you post process it in desktop - that is why in my channel I always suggest old school using a desktop. Or at least iPad
Hey bro my Richo theta z1 is not showing battery percentage in camera instead of that it shows something like plugin symbol and exclammatory symbol next to it. but I can see the battery percentage in my mobile and in my computer but I can't able to see the percentage of a battery in the LED screen of Ricoh theta Z1. Please help me 🙏🙏
Yes. PTGui has HDR feature I just don't know how to use it yet. You don't need LR at all - as your eariler comment, you can go PTGui to Affinity Photo directly. There is open source HDR merge tool can also work if you just google HDR tool - tone free stuffs out there.
I may just have to get the Qoocam 8K now, esp. since it has been hard to get the Z1 and also due to the cost difference. I'm so thankful to you, for producing a video just like this, as it has opened my eye's to the possibilities I've been looking for, for virtual tours and how to process them, for the ultimate quality! I've had the One X for over a year now and just Meh for quality and have held off, until I felt there was a camera that could provide much better quality, like these 3 new systems. Time to learn PTGUi !!
Haha thanks. I don't want to build your expectation too high tho. I am one of those guy still think the best way to do virtual tour is with a Nikon and fisheye lens with pano head - old school with PTGui. Z1 (yes even Z1) is okay for super low budget fast and dirty virtual tour. But again, add video to your virtual tour than Qoocam 8K will kill it :)
@@hughhou I do agree about shooting with a Full Frame camera and Pano head. I also plan to learn editing those as well. Another thing to learn, since I like the quality of DSLR's and Mirrorless for what I've seen, if you know how to edit them. Do you recommend 8mm or maybe 12mm lens for this application and Panohead? Thinking 12mm from Venus Laowa Zero D
I am not an expert in that field unfortunately. I will suggest joining the 360 pano photographer group - lots of experts on there can help you to pick the right lens. I actually use the HAL 200 which is a 200 degree lens lol.
@@trosencrantz Get FULL Frame is a must. Using DSLR only if you must, as the workflow (Time) vs the amount of you are paid. You may want to consider these 2 key factors. Before entering into that sector.
Hi Hugh, Thank you very much. I have tried to export from LR to Tiff at 16 bit, None Compress to work on PS. But the PS image look horrible in 3D, I wonder why? Can share your insight where I should be looking at? Many Thanks Hugh! :-)
Yes, Photoshop has a bug dealing with TIFF format in spherical panroma. I will suggest do all the adjustment and clear up in flat mode first. Then when you done, save it as PNG or jpg - then use the "3d" feature to remove tripod - that is the last step and then release. You use the 3D step last. Adobe aware of the problem in the latest photoshop and it is working on a fix for that.
@@hughhou Thank you so much on shading light into this bug, I was eager to find out what happened today - so I spent another 2 hours trying on colour profiles in the export settings. Thank you for your advice! Xie Xie Xie!
I actually think it is quicker shooting with a DSLR, a bit of extra processing time perhaps but higher resolution, lower noise, and better dynamic range and you can stand behind the camera when shooting. I have a Z1 but shoot all my tours with a DSLR. Z1 is great for those quick single 360s when you don't have time to set up a tripod.
Yes I agree! But everyone want the easy way out these days - so I have to make content that everyone want lol. I also recommend anyone serious about Virtual Tour learn basic photography skill and use DSLR. No idea why everyone chase the 1-shot workflow - not many people appericate the old school slow 360 art anymore. It is fun as well use DSLR with fine control of every photo and I can do light painting to get the prefect exposure - oh well. I guess I am just too old school (or just too old ... )
Hi, i agree but struggle to get answers to very basic questions. I just want 3d VIDEOS to be seen on my 3d tv. I have 2 GH5 cameras too. I researched LANC controllers also but couldnt find one that will controll both of my camera at the same time ( start and stop time, zoom etc ) Also, no rig available on amazon that is reasonably priced. I use Vegas pro for editing. Have seen stereoscopic mode but for the problems mentioned above, i could never use it. I am not a professional so my budget is also limited. Plus i need 3d videos. Not a big fan of 3d photos.
Hi Hugh, awesome video... I am sure you have spent a lot of time to make the script, film it, edit it, give audio, give the description, add timestamp link etc etc... really appreciate you. I am a big fan of you. Hope to meet you some time. I am a professional 360 photographer from 2009. I always use my DSLR. Can you suggest me one 360 camera that would give somewhat near result of a DSLR camera? I would like to use it for 360 photography and videography... Thank you so much...
Thank you Jacob! There is no 1-shot camera have image quality that can match your DSLR unfortunately. Your 2009 DSLR prob still the best - just lots of work but I will still suggest using it for professional work. The one come close it Insta360 Titan - which is a $15000 camera. Z1 is okay but won't match DSRL still. So the short answer is no. If anyone tell you there is one - they are lying lol. For video tho, then Qoocam 8K is the best for under $1000. I also still take 360 photo with DSLR with Autopano Giga - the old tool still the best tool.
I like the Super HDR but the speed surprised me that it took so long, on my iPad pro it took about as long as your phone. I don't see the links in the description at this time though Hugh.
I just posted. I had ADD today. Sorry. I think it is camera related not controller related. You know Qoocam 8K Enterprise is coming out right? I am wonder if that beast will super charge those features
Theta Z1 is better using Theta Stitcher to stitch: th-cam.com/video/hg1m-GlYnuI/w-d-xo.html - but you can also try their default template for Z1 - Pro recognize Z1 Meta
Z1 in camera HDR is almost same quality as the plugin. But it is much faster. On location. No stitching issues on the computer. When high resolution is so important to you and you have all the time in the World....just get a rotator plus DSLR and a fisheye lens. I make 360 pictures every workday since 2012.
Yes I actually mention manually set bracketing in my original tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/APDqW3eyJv0/w-d-xo.html - I do think dual fisheye save me lot of time to manually setting it tho. The new Z1 Lightroom plugin does has some issue in stitching lately. I do use DSLR and pano head like nodal ninjas and I also a pano photographer back in 2015 (not as long as you tho). I suggest all my students to use DSLR to learn first before using 1-shot camera and to use DSLR for client works. But very unfortunately, as you know, the industry changes rapidly lately b/c of some not so professional suggestions, guides flow around on the Internet that got lots of attention. Everyone is seeking an easy way out including my students - showing me guide that is done by non-professional giving horrible advices. Most of them demand to learn 1-shot camera and get okay enough quality for easy, way easier workflow both on set and in post. So to bridge this gap between new generation and old school pano photographer like you and me, I will have to adapt my content - find the best 1-shot camera and workflow - and still hammer hard on my students in post processing. But you are absolutely right - the best Virtual Tour is done with DSLR - never a 1-shot camera (or 1-shot camera like Insta360 Titan for 3D photography)
Thanks for the reply. I like the channel. Video is always high quality and a bit nerdy. Cool. In 8 years I did 4000 projects (real estate photography). I guess half of those included 360 photos. Let's say 5 per house on average so that is 10.000 images. Only once (!) I can remember I had some comments about a few 360 pics. That's when switched from dslr to Theta S....So basicly when the image has no huge stitching errors, OK detail for interiors some sharpness and is not too dark, 99.99% of clients are happy.
Right here: creatorup.com/360-raw-hdr-review-tutorial-for-virtual-tour-in-2020/ - let me know if it works - I got too many windows open today and I tho I release it but I guess I publish the wrong windows lol
@@hughhou I forgot to thank you, so here ya go....Thank you very much. This is the only channel on all of TH-cam that I've set alerts on due to your invaluable information.
Yes it does. 100% - the quality is so much better than DNG8 - I was skeptical too and wow, that look good. It is true 16 stop when pushing in Lightroom - I do wish they fix the Chromatic aberration - that is a time suck. Not saying Z1 is any good - but at least they get it under control.
By the way , PTGui Pro 12 beta will natively support QooCam 8K including 1. image filpped by default 2. precise stitching parameters 3. auto - leveling Because I was invovled in programming on this feature for PTGui Pro 12. And it is strange you have image flipped from QooCam Studio 2.0. I will make an investigation on it
Wait really?! What PTGui 12 beta you are on? The auto leveling is not working and the precise stitching is not precise at all for this shot - I can not get a good enough stitch out of the box. And def do not have auto flip! But it will be great. Is the flip should be fix by Qoocam in camera level? You are closer to them - could you ask if that is the plan? the Flip is happening in Video that is a big no-no ... Photo is an easy fixed...
@@hughhou th-cam.com/video/mNpAbubHV5Q/w-d-xo.html That was back in PTGui Pro 11.21 in Feb. Take a look at my video, I have a deep explanation on this feature.
Hi Hugh I was inspired by the features it have in your tutorial however installed automatically the newest firmware and it turns out does not save 3 dng nor internally nor in your phone on SuperHDR mode. only a single jpg. What a shame. A useless product it became. I don’t understand why their early firmware had that option and the new one stopped supporting it. So there is no way getting 16 bit dng HDR from it. I can’t imagine they didn’t even implemented a simple bracketing option in there software. I will return it tomorrow. What a waste of time.
Sorry to hear that. But they should have a fix to fix that - as that was there and it is prob a feature bug they need to improve before pushing out again.
Haha nope! I don't have one but I won't buy one neither judging from the spec. You put lots of security camera sensor in a body it is still a security camera - each pixel is in low quality - more low quality pixels do not make a better image. Also I looking at other samples and samples by private DMs - they are all very bad with lots of issues - unless someone prove me wrong lol. There are people create great photos with that - but he is such a skillful photographer, he can make any camera look great. But in general, no good result I can see. Mic Ty has pretty good review on that camera - but even his samples there are serious stitching issue indoor - it is unacceptable in professional world.
Based on your review earlier, i bought a vuze xr and oculus go to record in 3d. Video quality is worse than VHS in 1980s. Dont know what is your notion of quality. Here my 600 pounds have gone down the drain.
Vuze XR in 5.7K in VR180 is one of the best during the time I review Vuze XR for "consumer" grade VR180 camera - but if you want DSLR quality, you need Z Cam K1 Pro - which you need to pay at least the DSLR price. We are talking about VR, the image quality will not be as good as 2D as your 5.7K stretch in 180, so you less than 720P - which is VHS quality / resolution. You need to go up to 6K but even that is no where compare to a SONY A7S or GH5. You will need a RED with fisheye to match that quality - bigger lens need bigger sensor to match - you pay what you get tho. I am sorry you don't like the image quality. But your Vuze XR still make really good VR180 video in 5.7K - and VR180 is still very unique as 99.99% of the content is 2d video - you are 0.01% - way ahead of the competition even with less than 2D quality. Just my 2 cents.
Yes. As Chris mentioned - 8K in 360 meaning every monent your 4K TV is looking at 1080P at most - there are 6 sides need to share that 8K and there is fisheye distortion. So your 4K TV is more than enough
The fact that you don't hide your skills behind a paywall is amazing Hugh. You just earned a subscribe from me for sure.

GoPro MAX has HDR?! Wait ... sure? The last footage is shot on Insta360 Pro 2 - not Qoocam 8K - that is a $5000 camera system.
@@hughhou oh yea!! you are right Gopro one is not HDR. It is just protune. =]
$5000 system is so amazing!! Hope they can make same quality modules to fit One R LOL.
Protune log is great for VIDEO tho.
Thanks Hugh. Although not interested in virtual tours, there is always something to learn from your videos.

Hey hugh, any idea when super HDR will be available on Android?
I am asking them - let me circle you back on this.
@@hughhou it's live!
Hey buddy! I have a question. Do you use dng bracketing 9 in the z1 dual fish eye plugin or do you choose hdr-dng?
I use Bracketing 9 in Z1 just to be safe and the HDR-DNG does not work good for me. When I have 9 DNG - I can merge them myself with powerful computer with Photomatix - that is actually my go to professional workflow. Stitch first then merge and avoid using lightroom to merge - so no ghosting or HDR artifacts.
CreatorUp thx, yes I also use photomatrix or aurora hdr. You confirmed my view 👍
Thank you Hugh! Your tutorials are great! Just got my Qoocam 8k and will be using what I'm learning from you. Once again, thank you.
Glad to help!
I would love to see a 360 photo with the insta 360 with the 1" mod using a Panohead. The question is will the image be better than the insta 360 X2? Nobody has tried this yet.!!
Here a fan from Spain!! It's normal the noise and the high temperature of the camera?
The fan noise is normal - But try to keep the camera cool tho and turn it off if you don't use it.
Hi! - what a great tutorial -again :) - thanks for that.
I just received my QooCam 8k and started of corse with super hdr - it works fine and I can see and import and work with the high quality final jpeg - But I just haven´t access to the different -3, 0 and +2 DNG exposed files. I just did the firmwireupdate to UOU235 and use the latest app version v.3.6.0
I tried with the sd card and with the internal drive in the qoocam 8k.
You are not the only one suffer this problem - but more creator like me and you report this Kandao will fix this bug :(
@@hughhou I´m in the same situation. I get the final Jpeg after shooting in Super HDR. Only if I shoot in DNG mode I can get raw files.
So you should watch my review here: th-cam.com/video/APDqW3eyJv0/w-d-xo.html
Z1 is not a video camera.
Absolutely brilliant, can’t wait to see the z1 workflow
Z1 workflow right here: th-cam.com/video/hg1m-GlYnuI/w-d-xo.html
QooCam for virtual tours after it’s done taking photos about 40 seconds before stitching can you pick up and move the camera to the next room?
So, what good is Kandao RAW+, if it can't stitch photos from its own camera? PT GUI is a very expensive software and not everyone can afford it.

Hello. Is it possible to skip the LR with Super HDR from Qoocam 8 k and use the HDR Modus from PTGui right away? Thank you.
Yes. PTGui has HDR feature I just don't know how to use it yet. You don't need LR at all - as your eariler comment, you can go PTGui to Affinity Photo directly. There is open source HDR merge tool can also work if you just google HDR tool - tone free stuffs out there.

This is a real professional contribute, my master! Thank you so much!
You're very welcome!

Yes I will - right here: creatorup.com/360-raw-hdr-review-tutorial-for-virtual-tour-in-2020/
I actually think it is quicker shooting with a DSLR, a bit of extra processing time perhaps but higher resolution, lower noise, and better dynamic range and you can stand behind the camera when shooting.

Hi I have a Theta Z1 and just purchased PTGui Pro. Can you link me to your PTGui template for my Theta Z1? Thanks.
Theta Z1 is better using Theta Stitcher to stitch: th-cam.com/video/hg1m-GlYnuI/w-d-xo.html - but you can also try their default template for Z1 - Pro recognize Z1 Meta
Thank you for your time and all you do. Very much appreciate it.
You are very welcome
Excellent Hugh. Look forward to more
Thanks, will do!

1. image filpped by default
2. precise stitching parameters
3. auto - leveling
Because I was invovled in programming on this feature for PTGui Pro 12.

Hi ! How about the Xphase Pro S, not the best quality ?
The Z1 is 1100 vs qooCam8k is 1900 waooo
OoO 8K SHINY SHINY, then realises I only have a 4K screen and TV :(
Only part of that 8k is visible at one time
Yes. As Chris mentioned - 8K in 360 meaning every monent your 4K TV is looking at 1080P at most - there are 6 sides need to share that 8K and there is fisheye distortion. So your 4K TV is more than enough
@@hughhou I have a 360 cam that does 6k. I would like to see camera makers step it up and put out something that you can see 4k in view.
