No wayyy 😳 My friend just bought the Petrel and we were discussing that 600 is the sweet spot. He uses Toaks 750 and I have Evernew 500. The other one is big and the other small. Since I just got Windmaster this video was an eyeopener. Great tip! Valuable information 🙇♂️ Thank you.
Thanks for the comment🙏🏻 I’m glad you found it helpful. I already tried it on my recent overnight hike and confirmed its excellent wind resistance. Besides the WindMaster’s inherent wind resistance, it felt like the heat exchanger helped block the wind too. Despite the windy conditions, it took only about 2 minutes to boil 400ml of water in 15°C (59°F) weather. While using this combination is unofficial and at your own risk, I found it very effective and plan to use it more frequently. The 600ml capacity was also ample for two people😉
