- You've been waiting for a long time. This is the third comparison video. The 3D remake is a psp version with improved resolution.
Personally, I think the 3 pixel remasters are the best final fantasy 3 versions that exist. Hope you enjoy watching the video! 😊
Pixel Remaster's music is so much better than DS/PSP. It's nice that the 3D version gives you proper cutscenes in some instances at least, but it doesn't really amount to much. In fact, sometimes the cutscenes are actually better in the pixel remaster than in the fully-3D version, like the airship boulder destruction sequence. For me the Pixel Remaster is the clear definitive version of this game.
This is the definitive version of FF3 as far as I'm concerned.

I never knew the 3d version looked so good. It's by far the best looking and the dialog also seems to flow much more naturally (at least in Japanese).
I think they should have added the new 3D characters in Pixel Remaster. Seeing Luneth or Ingus in 2D would have been op

Pixel Remaster is slightly nerfed over Famicom version. But i think FF3 and FF4 original (even pixel remaster) is better than 3D remakes, i never liked them. I do think After Years 3D and 2D are both good however, better design, more effort into building up stuff with camera angles and faster gameplay. So i do like that on PC. But FF3 and FF4 remake i always thought was very lackluster and could have needed more work on PC. I guess for a DS limited device it was fine as exclusive, but not something i would have used for a 3D remake release.
If it were up to me, I’d make a 3D remake release in Unreal Engine 5 from the ground up. There would be voice acting. The characters from the DS remake would be reinstated.
Final Fantasy III first came out in Japan seven days after Nintendo’s Fire Emblem franchise was born, and three months before Nintendo brought the Final Fantasy franchise to North America. I was then 10 years old.
I’d like to see an Octopath style version of Final Fantasy III. It’d probably be based on the Pixel Remaster version.
The Octopath team should be remaking FF6 instead of DQ3. The OT art style was already directly based on FF6.
@@DarthEnderX Final Fantasy I, II, and VI would be easy to remake in Octopath style. I agree that the Octopath Traveler development team should remake Final Fantasy VI instead of Dragon Quest III. The Octopath style version should be originally developed for Nintendo Switch then ported to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
I’ve only played FF3 3D version. I didn’t know the original starts with the whole party. 3D just starts with Luneth
TBH you can't actually compare the 3D version because there vastly different to sprites and FF3 is the only game that hasn't have a 2D remake until Pixel Remaster.
You should do compilations like these comparing spells between the different versions.

그래픽취향은 픽셀리마스터가 좋아보이고 음악은 원곡을 좀더 채용한거같은 3D가 좋아보이네요

Still annoyed FF3 never got a PSP era version. Those higher def sprites were always my favorite.
Agreed, they're still the best versions of 1 and 2 in my opinion. But the 3d version is also not bad at all. It looks and plays a lot better than I remember, I might just try my hand at it sometime soon.
暗闇の雲の登場の仕方はファミコン版が一番かっこいいな。

3d건 리마스터건 그냥 패미컴 버전 한글화 에뮬로 하는게 개꿀임.
픽셀리마스터의 경우 보스몹의 크기가 좀 작게 표현되서, 보스를 상대하는구나 싶은 포스가 안나는게 좀 아쉽네요. 조금만 더 크게 표현해 주지... 일반몹이랑 크기차이가 많이 안난다는 느낌이.... 패미컴이야 성능때문에 그럴수 있지만, 굳이 그걸 따라할 필요는 없었을텐데 말이죠.
Tbh this Pixel Remaster version looks like a downgrade from the 3D for me: I don't particularly like this rocky sounding soundtrack, the characters are back to nameless dudes, and even though the cutscenes in 3D might be a bit weak, I think they still bring something to the game that is lacking with PR
The 3D version is terrible, thank goodness they made a 2D remake finally. Btw there was never an "NES" version officially. It was originally released on the Famicom, although an English fanhack does exist

이렇게보니 3d 파판이 제일 변종 느낌 ㅋ 모델링도 좀 구리고 음악도 별로고 전투 밸런스까지..처참. 그냥 최초의 3 리메이크정도로만 기억되는 작품
3D 리메이크가 NDS로 처음 나온 탓에, 지금 보면 그래픽도 조악하고, 한 화면에 적도 적게 나오고, 화면도 지나치게 줌되어 있어 지금 하기엔 피곤하긴 합니다 ㅎㅎ 픽셀 리마스터가 단점들이 없는 건 아니지만 지금 즐기기에 가장 스트레스 없는 건 맞는 거 같아요 😁
