0:47 - If something inside your oven is on fire, turn off the heat and have a fire extinguisher ready. Yes. But don't open the door... The inside of your oven is the BEST place for something to catch fire in your house. It's insulated, contained and literally designed to handle extreme temperatures. The limited oxygen will prevent any serious fire from growing too. Did you notice how the flame got much bigger only after the door was opened? You had a fuel source, and a heat source... Opening the door completed the fire triangle by allowing fresh oxygen.
Yep also use some heat resistant duct tape to seal the sides my grandma had an oven that kept catching fire endlessly and she just turns it off and seals the sides and the fire's gone in 5 minutes
Your response is spot on! Keeping the oven door closed prevents fresh oxygen from fueling the flames, allowing the fire to die out naturally. Ovens are built to contain heat, making them the safest place for a fire to burn out. Always have a fire extinguisher ready just in case!
I once had a barbell press down on my neck when I tried to lift it one last time, but fortunately, I had a training partner there to help me. My advice to everyone is not to attempt lifting heavy weights without a spotter.
0:50- just close the oven door. The stove is designed to take high heat and contain it. A fire is the same as high heat. There is nothing in the stove that will burn. The fire will consume whatever food it is burning, then die. I suppose if you were smelting metal in the stove you would have a problem. But as long as you were only cooking, the fire won't spread from the stove. Unless you open the door and then run away screaming.

I don't know the letter of the law on that but it was very poor form at the very least. It's true that the catcher should not have been blocking the plate like that but since the base runner made it so easily to home plate safe, she should've moved out to the side and tapped home plate from the side as she was running past instead of just trucking her. That seems like it should warrant some kind of unsportsmanlike conduct. Just because you can, that doesn't mean you should.
If I'd see flames in the oven I'd not even open it, I'd call immediately the fire brigade, their service it's free, the phone call it's free, but the life it's priceless

People are becoming redundantly stupid. If there's a llama in the frame, we know it's going to spit. If there's trees and a vine, we know it's snapping and they're falling to their demise. If there's water, someone is belly flopping hard.
If there is an American construct such as a fence, door or balustrade it will disintegrate at the slightest touch as if made from ice cream cones and willpower.

Never use flour to put out a fire - it could burst into flames. And water works great if there is no flaming grease.
