“People with generational wealth, stay wealthy. People with generational trauma, stay dead or in jail!” Herb talking that shit!
@Jeter112 and, the key 🔑 word he said, and this ain't no coincidence.
Damm realest sht I heard all day
False.
70% of generational wealth is gone after the first gen. 90% is gone by the second gen.
@@jwiLx that's not false they have certain families that keep getting wealthy over and, now there time is up and, over with this system was never designed that a certain species of people or what they call a race of people and, there going to pay for everything and, that's a fact I don't care who u are if u don't have a certain energy and, vibration u not going to be here period. It's time to wake up the only thing that is going to get us through these times is love 💚💙 divine 💚

“Jumped in the water and I turned into a piranha boy” - G Herbo
I was tortured as a child I’ve been through the heat and pain I was born in 76. I was able to take that pain away. I am no longer sick. I shine through my ancestors as deep as my lips can move fast is the upper class. It’s our class F status of what we shine within the positive stay blessed family 🤔🙏🏿

“ I’m From The Side Where They Found Derrick Rose He Made Ah Name Off Jumpshots We Made Our Name Off Shooting Poles “ - Lil Herb
I never paid much attention to G Herbo but this interview is eye opening.
Listen to Welcome to Fazoland…no exaggeration it’s a Chicago illmatic.
Nah he fasho spitting real fscts
Nah he always been this mature 💪🏾

@@kari1303ofn it’s definitely a chicago illmatic.
Damn well said.
People who have generational wealth continue to be rich.
People with generation trauma keep dying and going to jail.
We all die tho smh lol
Not true.
Generational wealth is 90% by the second gen. = Facts

On everything! Thank God for D Rose 🌹
Herb a young OG. He got that wisdom
Frfr
This a banger math been needed gherbo to sit down hardest out chicago💯
what stops generational trauma? introspective conversations like these that allow an individual to reflect and stop the damn cycle. thank you for publishing this clip cuz youngins younger than G are gonna be exposed to another way of thinking.
edit: and, most importantly, seeing someone that looks like them telling you that the deviant street shit is not the way.
!!!!
@@negrosuave9315Nothing is gone stop because the younger generations keeps it going, you think a 15-16 year old kid is going to listen to someone way older let along their age.
@@v.w8651 you can't save everyone but you can save some individuals that might help fix our community and influence society the youth aren't listening because some people are not being honest with them older parents in 2023 act like they are 20 years old and provide no guidance to the people they give birth to

I look at Chicago as the land of government experiments. I believe the conditions in Chicago, as well as many other black cities as being deeper than what meets the eye. We have to connect the two videos as far as what RFK Jr. is saying, and what we hear from this video! For they are certainly linked.
Great connection brother
This is facts 💯 I said da city waz gon end up exactly like it did 20 years ago
Everybody in Chicago in tune its just nothing most ppl can do to change it or at least not rapidly.
@@aceito28 the change Has to be internal before it can be seen external. Meaning we have to change the mindset of the people. If I put my $5 with your $5 and so on and so on. We have the power to change it just not the mentality.
Called Projects for a reason g
Herb and Rose definitely spokes facts..... The gang culture in Chicago is totally different now from back in the day...... The OG's tried their best to try keeping the youngins away from the BS..... I remember when I was growing up if the OGs caught me trying to hang on the block with the Folks..... They'd tell me to take my lil ass home before they tell my Pops or Grandpops 😅😅😅😅 Not like that here no more no structure at all
Damn, Young Herbo got that real wisdom in him. Salute Bro.

G Herbo summed up the pain FBA's have had dealt with in the US for centuries in a way that sent chills up my spine. When he said "it went from slavery, to now I have my father's trauma cause I wanna kill the guy who killed him" , it was a powerful statement. Some of us Black Men carry things like this with us no matter where we go, becuase we keep having to start from the bottom without generational wealth. Parents in our lives or not, it's another version of the same starting point.
Show me the proof.
A majority of this country starts without generational wealth.
Boiiiaaaa yo big lil brsin ass, history does not go slavery - crack epidemic there were many major events in-between.
FBA?
My cousin moved from nc to Chicago to live wit his dad and he kept telling me about this kid on his high school team and wat he could do..he never told me he met anybody better than me until rose came along..I went and seen my cousin highscool team play and I couldn’t believe how monstrous and humble d rose was 🙏🏾

Herbo is right. I live in Woodlawn Chicago and I asked a BD why he specifically is beefing with the GD’s around the corner..he said man I don’t know, half the n-words I’m beefing with I went to school with and the other half I grew up with..that stunned me. The trauma is real out here
I'm from Chicago as well, I was born in 70. I've seen alot of stuff growing up that the average person probably wouldn't see in their lifetime. Shootouts, fights, drug dealing, etc. Seeing all of that was normal. What they say, a product of your environment. It was hard not to be, but at some point you have to make a decision about your life and future. You can't let trauma control your life, change the cycle. It starts with you.
Me too I saw a lot! I was born in the 70's Robert Taylor Homes from there 64th and May! I remember both Von and Wooski Father's.. My Mother was on crack so bad they was coming to kill us, before we left for down south I made the best out of the situation being the oldest being stuck with my siblings trying to work at 9 and take care of them.. As a Mother I always let my kids know that they just don't know how Blessed they are no matter what.. I can write a book about how it all went down...Smh😢😢😢😢😢 I Thank God for my Grandma she just passed away back in March she was all I had left my Mother died back in 2010
the stuff that happens in Chicago happens in every hood in America tho from L.A. to N.Y.
@@hooligan5381But it happens more frequently in Chicago that’s what he’s saying
@@Only1Kizz I hear you but it doesn't. look up murder capitals or homicides. Chicago is just like any other city where there is gangs and little punishment for guns. same with Texas, Florida, Ohio, California has strict gun law they just be wildin' rap has made people believe Chicago is the devil playground or some shit and thats just not the case

Top 3 interview 💯
He smart . A shame i guess some bad habits are hard to break. Hope he keep his head up
HE GOTTA HAVE THAT MF ON HIM
A habit that keeps you ALIVE…IS NOT A BAD HABIT
Interesting brother. The moment he expressed the reality about self-knowledge and its power (when he brought up journalism) said it all. Being a thinker, a serious one, is a lone profession. Many like to pose; this young brother is no poser.
On another note, the Chicago situation, up and down, is astronomically stifling the creativity of the human spirit. People can survive out of dire situations, but it doesn't mean that the situation is justified as it is. There are conditions, as G Herbo intimated, that stem from past socioeconomic problems....I think he was gearing towards saying that major reparations are needed for Chicago to heal. But this means hitting the reset button. And that's where cleaning up the environment is necessary--without gentrification.
Good video.
For every D Rose there’s a Benji Wilson. Chicago, Philly, Cali, Baltimore, New York, Memphis…. These inner cities protect but there’s so many stories of bad choices
I'm happy a well known Chicago artist giving Pacman (Rip) and King Louie his flowers 💐 and D. Rose 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿🙏🏿🐐🤝🏿
Ion like how other cultures try and minimize our struggles and what we should feel and how we should think without asking how we feel. But, they steady comparing they shoe size to ours.
Sounds good. We all have choices to don right or wrong. Chicago is definitely a tough and wicked town. It’s always best to try and stay out the mix and out the way much as possible., or you’ll definitely get caught up in the cycle.
That was crazy . Soon as herb start talking about his parents , I was saying how I didn't have that. It's crazy how he said the same thing at the end.🤦🏾♂️
Wish the Bulls would’ve gave D-Rose the max …
Thought he got the max after his mvp season

Real talk
Generational single mom homes
The ones that had dad and mom were seen as soft and teased so they felt like they had to prove to the other kids who came from less fortunate backgrounds that they were tough. In black community they all live together. White trash dnt live in same communities as the upper class. They separated off in rural areas or trailer parks
💯💯💯
Do a lot of the younger Chicago artists were ever influenced by Twista, Do or Die, Crucial Conflict, Da Brat, Infamous Syndicate (Shawnna of DTP group), Psychodrama, Kanye, Common, 4-Ize of DTP, Bump J, Lupe and other Chicago 90s and early 2000s artists? I never hear the younger Chitown artists talk about them.
No it’s a age gap, all of those artists had moments but never had the spotlight. 25- 30 year olds music influence is New York/ Atlanta
dipset, The Loxx , Gucci & waka
Big Ups to G Herbo ❤ no bap
