As an owner of a older model Audi. I am in complete agreement with the USB ports. Now if the MMI would descend by turing the knob right vs the opposite it is now I'd be extra happy.
Review was not bad, in fact it was pretty good. He used to copy Cooley, which no one should do. Ignore the the other people, and keep up the good work.
Assuming the engine is fine by EPA scruntineering (which currently seems to be) the 3.0 TDI is the engine to get. I test drove the Q5 TDI and I found it a gem. Let the naysayers whine: diesels really shine in real world applications & their torque is phenomenal.
+D Jaquith Yes they were. And at a max fine of up to I believe $37K a vehicle, they may be hit with a huge fine. I can be wrong, but I heard that about 450K vehicles may be affected.
Joey G Yeah I can't believe VW did that, I mean really?! I had an old Audi 5000S way back when that a year later was labeled as having 'sudden accelerator' problems and now this. Dumb! Dumber yet to think they wouldn't get caught. Self inflicted stupidity.
symawd All I read and frankly care to know is that some diesel engines are the problem, but now that VW is under a microscope where knows where it will end. My point is the damage is done and trust is nearly evaporated. Audi and VW's are (were to some) good cars. Lets all hope other car manufacturers aren't as foolish and VW makes things right quickly.
craig doss I'm talking about the styling and features, such as the lack of an electronic suspension option in an A6. It's competition offers more in their luxury option packages. Even the 2016 Passat, having the same vehicle architecture as the A6/S6, have Audi styling cues. The infotainment screen in the A6 is smaller than its other competitors.
I feel bad for all the CNET car journalist that are not Brian Cooley because they just get slammed. Take a hint CNET if we wanted to watch mediocre car reviews we'd tune in to the plethora of other channels. Either stick with Brian Cooley always or get someone on his caliber (good luck with that)
thoravian Merc is part of Daimler. BMW is independenly owned but collaborates with other manufacturers as well. Audi using parts that are developed in collaboration with W is not new. It's normal in the automotive industry for manufacturers to collaborate. Audi is still a premium brand in every way, just like Merc and BMW, Bentley, Rolls, etc etc
I don't think it's fresh.. it was fresh a few years ago. it's a good looking car. the a4 has been consistently good looking but it's nothing new to look at. it has a classic look though
boring conservative looks? I'll give you conservative, but seriously, not boring. There ARE other cars that do that and prove it way better. The C7 is not one of them.
new tech? this is why the auto industry needs to be crushed. companies like Tesla, Apple, Google and Uber are going to murder these boring old companies in the next few years.
"Folks it's a New World Order" oh crap those three fatal words never mean anything positive! lol I guess they just had to throw that in there to show compliance sheesh
One of the best looking cars I've seen

+Superfartz Fully agree, everyone has their own style and ought to use it. Rather than simply coping others..
dammit man I was hoping for brain cooler
+Moon “Moonlight” light - He apparently refused to review after VW/Audi's lying emissions scandal
Shuyebul Alam
Fixed suspension? The 2.0 TDI in india has an adaptive air suspension...just got it yesterday
I'm not a Audi fan, but they have the best flip nav screen idea on the market
why no brian Cooley! !!! T.T

Where is the timing belt located, in front or back of engine?
No one noticed he was searching "Twin Peaks Tavern" on the Nav haha
To be honest, other reviewers about cars on Cnet aren't really that bad, they are quite good. Just that Cooley is damn good at it!
I don't think Cooley is necessarily the best reviewer but his personality is engaging. makes it fun.
have to agree with the inclusion of a USB finally those Audi adapters were stupidly expensive
Where is Brian Cooley??
What color is this audi?
Would have loved Brian...but Wayne is getting better than his usual self
Hmm wasn't that diesel engine recalled for deceptive smog'ware??
+D Jaquith Yes they were. And at a max fine of up to I believe $37K a vehicle, they may be hit with a huge fine. I can be wrong, but I heard that about 450K vehicles may be affected.

+D Jaquith No, only the 2.0l TDI engines. It's a 3.0l in the A6

Dan Lee I heard :-/ The Fast Lane Car has an informative segment on the VW dilemma.
new mic?
Yeah...I would stay away from the diesel model for the time being. Just to be on the safe side.
love the new A6, see them a lot here
Yeah I have one. It's amazing.
Paul Abdo

+jody024 never say never kiddo
Mohsin Zlaoui well....I'm 30 and still broke AF, lol i can't even afford a drivers license (those can cost up to like 1500 Euro here)
Why in the world do they even try to put out reviews without cooley?
this guy got much better
where is brian cole
This is what happens when Audi does cost-cutting in it's vehicles, especially in a luxury vehicle.
What are you referring to in particular?

Ahh I see your point. Thank you for the explanation.
but will it pass emissions tests...
Where the hell is Brian !!!

thoravian They only use parts from VWs on their entry level models, the A3 and the Q3. You won't find cheap parts in their high end models at all
Where's Brina Coilee?
Usb finally!
Did they deliberately paint the bumpers ten shades darker than the bodywork?!
So Where's Brian Cooley and why would he say "folks it's a new world order" Cooley would bash the cars tech not scare you away from it
that price tag is ridiculous
Where is Cooley? Smh
Why so many likes?
So many likes the second the video is upload. Something is not right...
NO COOLEY? NO WATCH!
would be cooler with Cooley
does this one have cheating software?
For that price I could get a Maserati

Gotta love how the only way they can edit a Wayne Cunningham review is to not show any footage of his gut and face...
new tech? this is why the auto industry needs to be crushed. companies like Tesla, Apple, Google and Uber are going to murder these boring old companies in the next few years.
