I just installed CapRover for testing. One click apps are buggy and have issues. Getting Failed: Error: Request failed with status code 502. Each time I try to delete an app caprover fails and I have to restart it and re-login
It uses docker swarm under the hood, so you can basically manage the cluster manually if needed, but there is also a slack community where you can ask for help
great tuto, I am following your instruction and @4:45 could you tell me how you got that git(master), I don't have it and I am wondering if my deploy will work properly if I don't have git. I have followed everything along your video so I was a little surprised to see that difference, hope I can understand the rational . Thank you again!
Look at this tutorial on caprover as it says a word or two about git caprover.com/docs/get-started.html#step-4-deploy-the-test-app Note that in this video, that part is when he was working on his local machine (NOT his remote server). He was trying to push the app to the server. I haven't tried to deploy the app but from what i can see it is very easy to debug. You can do it without installing git I believe, if it works then you're good to go. The reason I said so because caprover allows you to deploy from CLI or web dashboard (caprover.com/docs/deployment-methods.html) But it would be not rational if you do not have git because in this demo scenario, the one who is pushing the app to deploy onto the server is also the developer - which - must have git installed on his machine. Just my 2 cents, you should have git installed anyway.
I followed the written instructions. I got it to work up to about where the video is at at about 4:40. This video goes instantly to the window where it opens a window with git:(master) at the top. For me, when I follow the written instructions and do the deploy, it asks for a branch and I cannot get past that. I have downloaded a project and extracted it and all that. I wish the video did not go so fast and instead show how to do the actual deploy.
thank you... thank you so much for having the time and effort to make such a project like this!
Very helpful.
Could you upload an HD version?
I know, 480p, what tha!??
@@DavidJJJ They are probably busy coding! 💖
@@Rui-i8o I mean for next time really.
@@Rui-i8o Certainly, while bunch of TH-camrs keep providing useless content and forget to code but still upload 4k content
Hello, I would like to use this with Cloudflare. Also I didn't want to expose my Public IP. Is there an alternative way for that?
Cloudflare does not let you use a wildcard and proxy it at the same time. Did you find another solution @eldhose ?
@@tobisalami Cloudflare allows proxying wildcard. It's already announced some time ago 👍🏼
Caprover is really cool and you explained it really well.
holy sh** why i just heard this. Excellent explanation!

how many ram does caprover take to run on vps?
is Caprover still supported by developers? Last update on github was almost a year ago
It is, latest release was 3 weeks ago
