As a child, growing up with Spirograph was (and still is) amazing. As an adult now, I always wanted to get back into doing geometrical and artwork . With practice, I also used Wild Gears that has a vast array of wheels (or gears) that have been laser cut which are great for exploring new designs. A bit more expensive than Spirograph, but the same results of different size wheels and shapes, and naturally you find favourite patters. I use Blue Tack to hold down the larger frames. I have a combination of copy paper and books when trying out new designs. I find using small felt tipped pens better with a larger choice of colours. I will check this Mandala Maker and from what I saw in your post, can be useful for more intricate designs and patterns. Thanks for posting.
Thank you for recommending this! My lines aren't as smooth as they used to be so having this Spirograph Mandala set is terrific. Looking forward to your future videos with this wonderful tool!
Really interesting and I liked your completed Mandalas. Re the pens on canvas, would it work to put a layer of thick gesso on, or even white acrylic paint to make a smooth surface?
I’m wondering how this will work along with freehand embellishments. I am more impressed with it than I thought I would be. I’ve never tried the traditional version, but now am intrigued! Thanks!
I think it will work well with free hand embellishment. I also was pleasantly surprised by this, and can give you the tip I have found with mandala creation. For me, more is always more. My designs typically look better the more I add.
I did it as a livestream. Here’s the link Spirograph Mandala Maker and Dollar Tree Art Supplies WIP and Chat th-cam.com/users/livergx3aXAzt-Y?feature=share

Oh I just love that! I don´t have that set. But it would be a nice extra to my collection! Thank you for unboxing it!

I’m getting ready to try this and make a video using canvases, so stay tuned.

I had no idea this mandala maker version existed! Your pieces came out so nice!
Thank you! I had no idea either until I saw it on the shelf.
That looks amazing
Thanks!
Looks awesome, thank you
That thing is huge. So, probably not for "on the road" creating. lol. Good explainer/unboxing though!
Thanks!
Definitely not a travel item lol, but lots of fun at a desk at home.
Good ❤
From where to buy it
