The full tragedy of that horrific night was the despicable lack of support shown for a community in desperate need. 'Stand' speaks to the importance for us all to recognize these moments of desperation and do something about them. 'Don't leave your mark... leave a scar!'"
REELZ original documentary America’s Deadliest Rock Concert: The Guest List premiered this past Sunday, February 20, presenting the deeply personal stories of lives forever altered by the tragic Station nightclub fire that left 100 people dead, more than 200 injured, and devastated the tight-knit community of West Warwick, Rhode Island. The documentary will air again on REELZ this coming Sunday, February 27 at 3:00 PM Eastern time.

Before I even play this through. Thank you. I lost 2 friends that night and am thankful to have overslept and missed the show myself. Upon hearing of the tragedy, I was amongst the few to clean up the site and to construct the initial 100 crosses from the remains of the building. I visit the location whenever I am in the area and it still hurts so many years later. Such a tragic night. Gone but never forgotten. To Tom Marion Jr, and Nick O'Neil, this ones for you and those lost that night. 🤘🖤

My friend Gino Alvarez died helping others get out and was trapped in The Station nightclub fire. And this song reminds me of his selfless heroic act which makes me proud to be his friend 🤘🤘

I've watched the documentary twice and it still breaks my heart when I watch it. It never should have happened in the first place! If there had been sprinklers in the building, none of those 100 people would have lost their lives.
Dee stood behind everyone from this night and gave full attention to. He went to other bands for help…to help him…to help the families of the ones who perished and to help the families of survivors. There were quite a few who said no, and then there were a few that said yes, and to this day, the ones who said yes, are still there. My wife and great friend were in the atrium, and almost dying (with a very high probability rate of not getting out alive) if it weren’t for the officer that was there who broke the very last glass window of that atrium. They both got out, and were both injured. One more than the other. This song means a lot, not only for the ones who passed, but also to the ones who survived.
I'm so glad, that I'm living in the same universe, where Dee Snider is creating music like this \m/
The whole last album and this song in particular , helped me to get rid of depression caused by the forced closing of the restaurant I dedicated my life to because of pandemic. Thanks Dee.

Wonderful tribute to the 100 who perished and the 230 injured, they should never be forgotten. A senseless tragedy that forever changed our small state, so many changes to building design and fire safety follow The Station fire it’s unfortunate it took such a awful disaster to make those changes. My best friend since Jr high was there that night. It was a Thursday, a night I usually went out with her. She luckily made it out thanks to friends she was with. My adult besties uncle was there, he didn't make it out. I know many more ppl that had lived ones there, and have made a few new friends with other victims. It's breaks my heart. My friend was screaming to be let go to help the others. I would've too. I'm thankful for those who survived but first hand saw the damage, mental and physical it caused and I held much guilt for a long time. We got to meet Dee Sinder after a fundraising concert and was AMAZING. Spent time w EVERYONE at the meet and greet. Was so down to earth and caring. I'll never forget it and the hugs and kindness he gave.

Very very cool. Thanks. Even though I wasn't there I was at an AC/DC concert in SLC. UTAH 1991. Many years ago where 3 people lost their lives. I pray for forgiveness as well as healing for the families and grace for the victims and those in the crowd who caused the tragedy. Myself being one of them . I'm from Rhode Island as well, I live in the East Providence area. I remember when it happened right after my birthday. Dee was awesome for wanting to help the families that lost their loved ones.

This February 20, 2023 it will be 20 years ago when the horrible Station Nightclub fire happened. 100 people lost their lives due to stupid mistakes made by the former owners of the club and illegal pyrotechnics that were set off by the band Great White. 90 seconds it took for the club to set ablaze. I was 11 when this event took place. It was 11 days after my 11th birthday and 8 days after my dad's 41st birthday. I remember because it was a cold snowy winter day in Rhode Island. I just want to thank God that none of my friends and family were killed in that fire. I couldn't imagine the pain that those people were feeling as they were burned alive and the utter panic inside of the nightclub as they tried to escape. My heart goes out to all of the families that lost their loved ones in that horrible fire.
I remember being in high school when this happened. My English teacher called them "Great White Hope" the day after in class. If you've seen the video inside you know what exactly went down and the people that died died in the most horrific way imaginable.

Unfortunatley, in 2015 a similar tragedy took place in Romania (Europe) at the Colectiv club where there was a rock concert by Goodbye to Gravity, fire claimed 64 lives and injured 146.

My old friends brother was on vacation with gf in rhode island,had tix to show but last sec decided to not go,he showed tickets i saw video it was horrible,it was like my friends,if it had been in my town id been there,so sad ,but thankful he chose to not go

I've never knew these people and I'm touched by this.
It was absolutely horrible,that Station Nightclub fire. 100 people lost their lives due to illegal pyrotechnics being set off which caused the whole club to burn to the ground. People managed to escape the burning building. The man that you see in the video that's severely scarred was one of the last people to be recovered from the Station Nightclub. He had over 100 surgeries, one of them was giving him a new lower arm and hand. He has an adorable little girl, who is the reason why he fought to survive the nightclub fire. He didn't want to leave her without a father.

Plus the Owners were too lazy to put in sprinklers and if you see that video on here, one of the firefighters felt really terrible in the aftermath as he throws off his helmet and bows in disbelief. I know of the man you speak of. He had a significant other whom lost her life as well in the Blaze. He's married now and his wife got burned in a way but not really bad and as far as another victim. Her daughter Sarah Jane. I discovered her youtube channel on her and heard her story and comment on her Ig every now and then wish all of them the best except for That bodyguard that didn't let people out of the back. He's another that many have resentment towards. But God bless them all.

Great song. Awesome voice. I didn't realize Dee Snider had golden lungs. I mean, I liked some Twisted Sister when I was a kid, like The Nature of the Beast comes to mind, but this sounds way better. A lot of these songs. And "I Gave You Yesterday!" is stuck in my head. I get to backfill some heavy metal now. Awesome!
