Not bad mate. them little quads can be as fun or more fun than 5 inchers as you can take them any where. Forget flying around trees you can fly IN trees!! Welcome to the fun. You do wanna get off assisted modes as soon as you can though. They produce really bad habits. You have plenty of open field to get used to how to fly without it and learn how much better they do when you are not fighting the level assist. gaps will be much much easier without the over correction of auto level actually pulling you off your line when you adjust.

@@North49RC Once you do and finally experience what a "Locked in" tune feels like rather than wishy washy default BF settings fly like you will really start having fun.
Beta flight stock tunes are like trying to fly a wet noodle.

@@borgonianevolution I am seeing how tunes differ from quad to quad. The toothpick was donated to me so it was tuned by the previous owner. But the Baby Ape is set with the factory tune and you are right it does feel wishy washy. Not that I am experienced enough to tune it myself but you can tell on the sticks it just isnt as responsive. Once I am full time off angle mode it will be more of a me feel as opposed to using crutches
