I recently got out of a residential (like a long term psych ward) and one of the staff loved Garbage Pail Kids! I'm 16 and I started collecting because of a vintage arcade that would sell them and when I told that staff he was so excited that weekend he brought half of his collection for me to sort through. He let me keep his duplicates and another patient and I would share and trade throughout the weeks I was there :). GPK will hold a special place in my heart. Your video is rad! The staff is a very quiet man, but once I brought up GPK he couldn't stop smiling and talking about it. He even brought the R.L. Stine card and book and allowed me to read it. I love that people have a passion for these silly cards and it's amazing to see yours! Great video :DD

I just started collecting factory sealed boxes a few days ago. Not going to open any just put on display. The sound of your boxes hitting the table is music to my ears. So far I have a intergoolactic collector box, gpk x view askew, gpk x mlb series 2, and a couple chrome blasters series 5/6.
A word regarding the UK slime buckets .... I had a complete unopened box up until recently, when I noticed one tub was a bit discoloured at the bottom. Long story short, the slime eventually melts the plastic bags that the mini figures come in. The bags turn black and stick to the figures, causing paint damage. I saved most of the figures, but they nearly all had bags that had started to fall apart. The nature of the slime reacting to the plastic bags means it's probably better to open them and save the figures from a financial point of view ... It's a damn shame, as I liked having the sealed mini buckets all together in the box.

Man, that is one awesome collection😎 I wish I could expand my collection as well but living in Sweden it’s impossible to collect all the GPK you want because shipping from the US is through the roof at this point. I did however manage to get hold of 5 giant acetate proofs included in a lot about ten years ago. They are my retirement plan as I’m hoping they will be highly sought after from collectors in the future😅 I mean, they’re really one of a kind and I have the Topps certificates and all. I saw one up for sale at eBay recently and the seller was asking $500 for it. Don’t know if he will get that amount but the price have certainly gone up over the years. 🇸🇪

57:06 I know they are expensive but it would be amazing to see the OS1 set in one of those Toploader Binder Sleeves. Like your normal card sleeves but can hold Top loaders instead 😛 The binders are overpriced though but I'm thinking about doing it for my up and coming GPK Chrome 4 Skittles Set.

I just can’t understand keeping more than one or two sealed packs. A whole booster? I couldn’t do it lol. There’s literally things in those packs that could be GPK history. Some of the sketch cards, autos, etc.
I’m more of a “put together a set” kind of collector. Everything sealed is the extra boxes I’ve purchased over the years. No reason to open them and I don’t want to sell them. Weird catch 22 type of situation I have. lol. Thanks so much for checking out the video.
Yeah buddy I love Ed Edd & Eddy. I bought all the seasons of DVD and a special DVD player because anything after the first season only works in a different region that’s not US. They used to have a 24 seven channel on TH-cam for Ed Edd and Eddy but it went away 🙁. I do have the ad Christmas special on DVD

I just pulled my box and checked it over. Some of the slime is watery but no discoloration yet. Is it a heat thing or just a chemical thing?
