I completely agree with Aaqib. A great player doesn't necessarily mean a good coach. Coaching is a process that has to be done from the grass root level. May be this is the reason, why the current Pakistani team & their performance is is serious turmoil...

Shaheen was discovered in lq trials. Having a brother who is a former first class cricker doesn't justify to be in Pak development programme. Even if he was in the programme, still it will take him a good time to be called for the national team(3, 4 years minimum.)LQ streamlined his move by giving him chance in PSL.
P.S: LQ is coached by Aqib.

The best students of the class are never going to be best teachers. The best teachers always turn out to be the back benchers because they know essence of life and companionship more than frontline students. Similarly misbah and waqr may be best cricketers of their time but best coach in Pak cricketers will always be people working at domestic level and state level structure who are not superstars but are humble and down to earth and know how to get the best amongst the lot.
