You should try adding an electro character to the team to play Curry Electro will help with maintaining your dendro aura with quicken aura and that way you can generate more seeds while sometimes getting rid of the burning one

I'd love to get burgeon Thoma going on my account, but you're very correct in saying that Thoma has major energy issues that make it really difficult to get the most out of him. If I could somehow put together a FoPL artifact set with triple EM stats and 20% ER substats on every piece, I'd build him, but Kuki takes way less investment and gets better results.
I would suggest using 4 pc instructor set on Yaoyao - 120 em when you creste reaction with her. Better than 4 pc Tenacity in these teams I think. Also if you have C4 Yanfei, do you think she would be better for burgeon since she creates a shield at C4?
i have a c6 yanfei and i played her in burgeon during last abyss cycle, thoma is overall better because you can swap characters and still have burgeons going.. however yanfei doesnt have the same energy problems as thoma does thoma will have a tankier shield because it scales more off of hp than yanfei, so id advise a healer no matter which characters you use because burgeon does so much damage..

kuki hyperbloom always better because it tracks enemy n we can stack full em no ER issue..dmg same burgeon n hperbloom..myb we dont have good burgeon driver yet..

@@ameliatheressa1911 Damage is the same but AOE, dealing 30k damage to one target is less than 30k to 4 targets. Also kitain cross spear and constellations solves energy issues. Besides Xinqui is burst dependent but is one of the best characters in the game
It is pretty easy to build a character for EM and still get a nice hp total. My Dori, for example, has 870 EM, in Thundering Fury with the Mailed Flower proc, while also having 26.2k hp and 151% ER. And that's without really farming heavily for her. A sword user has it even easier, if you have the Key, as, well, for my Kuki, that thing provides almost 30% of her 36.7k hp, while still giving her almost the same EM as other sword options. But, obviously, Thoma isn't a sword user and can't ignore ER like Kuki, so is in a similar boat to Dori. Still, when you're running EM/EM/EM, just got to get some good hp% substat totals on those 3 pieces, plus whatever you can also get from the feather and flower. And yeah, you'd have more with hp/hp/hp, but regardless, you should still be at about 2/3rds min of that for any character that doesn't run an hp% weapon. And since most defensive hp skills are a base number + a percentage of hp, you'll wind up performing at above 2/3rds effectiveness. Edit: Oh, and in case anyone wonders why my Dori is built this way (or at all, hehe), it's because she's pretty good in co-op, and fun as well. Also C6. So I slapped together a TF set on her, replacing her previous Dreams set, which went to Kuki.
I used thoma as a burgeon trigger, but I find it more fun with klee as she doesn't need to turn on the ult to proceed to blast and it's more on brand on her XD
Yet he still cleared the current hardest content with Yelan easily. Idk why some players always want the most optimal things. Op isn't a theorycrafter or doesn't claim to be one. He played what he thought is the best. Clearing 5-10s faster doesn't matter much. You can use Kokomi instead of Childe in international even if it isn't optimal. The clear time will be slower but as long as it can clear abyss, it's fine. Sometimes we don't always need to follow the textbook.

Runs are spliced, but he did a good job lining up the timers. If you need proof, look at the last chamber when going to 2nd half, he ends 1st half at 8:54 and starts with 8:52.

It's actually pretty common for creators to do two runs, 1 for the team in the first half and the 2nd for the second half. You'll notice it more often if you keep paying attention. It's just good so you can show the team is viable. Especially as you may need to do multiple runs to change team members to get the full 3 stars on each chamber
I maxed him out (lvl 80 talent 8/8/8 and C6) before dendro/sumeru cuz I was a simp and never used him again lmao 😭 was it a waste of mats? Not really cuz he deserves it
Do you think Thoma would deal better damage if he does reactions without using his own Burst? Also, I would like your opinion on my Thoma build. I have 905 EM with 172% ER. Do you think it's worth leveling him up to 90? Note: I didn't factor in Nahida's Burst and 2 Dendro resonance, these are just his stats alone ( using the same weapon and artifacts as you used on your Thoma in this video )
Xinqiu is better in burgeon, elegy or not. Sapwood blade gives more EM (i think) he applies more hydro in single target and actually can apply aoe Meaning he generating about twice the speed with him you have dmg reduction and free heals when combined with thoma should be enough to survive if you dodge well So no yelan is not "premium" shes just More expensive and worse
Hydro application part you're right but saying Xingqiu can apply AoE is pretty cope ngl. It's like saying Hu Tao can AoE. Technically yes but very cope.
@@はたけカカシ-u8btook me awhile to get back, and his orbitals apply a separate source of hydro at least once every 3 seconds which one top of the fact that his E proc will usually hit two enemies at once it's not really "cope" cause in single target it can put out burning faster, and in aor generate 6 more cores a rotation.
Sapwood Blade is one of those "in theory, but probably not in practice" type of things. Bloom teams tend to toss up a lot of particles, a lot of screen clutter. You also tend to want to use burgeon in more AoE situations, so still more stuff on the screen. And then you have to pick up the leaf, which entails being able to see it, it being in a spot you can actually move to, and then moving to where it is, with the right character. Meaning for the majority of players, it'll be the worse option over fav or sacrificial and how those will positively impact the energy regen side of things for the team more . And even for those that can meet those conditions, well, how often does that extra bit of damage matter enough to warrant the loss of quality of life? Meaning they might not even bother anyway. Though it does have the benefit of being crafted, so potentially easier for a F2P player to R5. And, given Thoma's energy needs, using a weapon on Xingqiu that helps with that is not exactly bad either and can allow Thoma to be built with more EM.
You're doing something wrong, firstly do u use favonius, secondly how much hp do u have? Talent level? I use him with Wanderer, burgeon ayato, yoimiya, his shield is reliable, ofc you shouldn't just stand and take all damage, even Zhonglis shield break like this

I recommend using him with Noelle with favonius claymore as the field rider, very easy to use and the energy problems are nearly solved, of course the core team here must be Nahida with Yelan preferably

Against groups burgeon Thoma is deadlier by a mile.
Hyperbloom for single target, Burgeon for Aoe
and also hyperbloom gives you quicken which is great for your dendro chars dmg

Yes you need to lv your bloom, hyperbloom or burgoen trigger to 90 for maximum dmg.

I got his c6 and using him as yoimia shilder but hes to energy hungry and his shield breaks easy, or im doing something wrong.
