Digital Equity Competitive Grant Program Press Conference - 7/24/24

Assistant Secretary of Commerce Alan Davidson joined Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey and announced the first funding opportunity from the Digital Equity Act’s $1.25 billion Digital Equity Competitive Grant Program.
The Digital Equity Act is funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and is part of the Internet for All initiative, a key component of President Biden’s “Investing in America” agenda.
The Digital Equity Competitive Program funds projects that will empower individuals and communities with the tools, skills, and opportunities to fully benefit from meaningful access to high-speed Internet service.
