Hi Alyssa Trader Joes is a great place to go gluten free shopping. If you like oat meal trader joes rolled oats in the blue and white package. I have 4 packages in the house. I eat it every day. It is amazing. I am 15 years non celiac gluten intolerant with celiac disease. Another thing you can get is the jolly rancher zero sugar aspartame free. I use them in emergency keep my sugars up. I am not diabetic. I have CKD which effects my blood sugar 16 years same as my gluten free journey! Keep up the great job you can do it! Winco is a great place for gluten free shopping as well! Have a wonderful day!

@@SuperCaliListic Great info, thanks. This video deserves way, way more views - it's like an in-depth PSA everyone should see. And I can't imagine how long you had to be in there (during a pandemic) to 'research' and get all of that footage, and then there's the editing.
Yeah, I've been to the gluten-free section at Walmart but didn't realize there were some 'hidden gems' in other parts of the store. And the price is definitely right.

Wow really needed this i havent officially been diagnosed with celiac or with gluten allergy because my doctors are poop and dumb, but i know gluten is affecting me because i feel sick and i have no idea what to do or what to eat or where to start. Gluten free sucks, but id rather sacrfice than feel sick as its also what is affecting my health on top of hashimotos.

Yes, trust yourself. Rice, potatoes, GF corn tortillas, and tortilla chips are great alternatives to bread and gluten. Trader Joe’s also has gluten free baked goods if you love bread and muffins.

Thank you for your video, it is so helpful to know what to look for as someone who is new to all of this. 😅 I was told to trial a gluten free diet but that's it, and I've been so confused.

Late o this vid, but Ora-Ida has gluten-free tots and hashbrowns. Just read the disclaimer to make sure. The GV brand 'Gluten Free' now has all-purpose flour and brownie mixes. Both are phenomenal! And they are under 4$!

oh nice! thanks for the tips! It's hard to find affordable gluten free. We recently found delicious gluten free/dairy free celiac safe sourdough bread at a farmer's market in Oahu! So cool! Stay tuned, that video should be happening soon. Hopefully the baker ships the bread!

I know I am a bit late to this conversation but if u want to find great gluten free options I might suggest that u watch a youtube family known as the murrays. Their kids have celiac disease and one of the products their kids do eat but idk if your kids will eat them are the ians fish sticks and also Applegate does make a gluten free chicken nugget

I am so sorry to hear about your little one having celiac. It’s so tricky. I have not encountered issues with “natural flavors” but I can say when something has a mix of spices I get nervous about cross contamination. Basically everything down to make up or vitamins - EVERYTHING could have possible cross contamination. If I am unsure I will google: “is (blank) safe for celiac” and often I will get more helpful info about the product. Best wishes to you and your little one. ❤️❤️❤️

You are so welcome. Thank you for taking the time to comment and letting us know. 💖 I’m sorry to hear about your little one’s diagnosis. Celiac is sooo challenging. I don’t have much knowledge of natural flavors in particular. I usually read labels as carefully as possible and search the individual products and to see if they are safe for celiac.
