A fairly inexpensive way of getting the ‘89 Batman is to mod the keychain version. It’s pretty easy to do. If the resulting hole in the top of Batman’s cowl bothers you, you can cut a segment from a black Happy Potter wand to fill the gap. That’s what I did and it looks fine.
While both the 89 and 92 films were before my time, I still much prefer the 92 bat symbol, it just looks a bit more sleek to me. So this poly bag is a great way to get it. But since I grew up watching the more child friendly Batman Forever and Batman and Robin first, it'd be cool to see Lego sets based off those versions too. Maybe a new split hair piece for Two-Face?

My batman 1989 sets are still sealed but I wanted this set to add to a future moc I hope to do if I can get the minifig scale 1989 batmobile that came out in August for the U.S I was lucky to get the batwing 2 weeks early along with this the minifig scale batwing and batmobile I will have a perfect start to a batman museum since I have the 1966 batmobile already and 2 other batmobiles as well.
This is such a good set because it’s perfect for those who just want the figure

Found an end cap full of them today! I was SO excited. Keatons Batman is a favorite and this is such a nice figure, neat display too.

This is a really good way to get a good looking cheap batman. I still wish we'd get stuff other than batman though...
