Sorry that was a typo 06:43. The seasoning is actually sake, mirin, soy sauce and sugar. Thank you〜!! I just wanna let you know we will be away for a month to attend our family wedding. So I guess the next bento video will be June. ahh sorry(°▽°)!! *good news My husband making something and his new videos may arrive soon〜 All in all, See you next time in his new video⭐︎
actually sad but it's okay, all we do is enjoy your video. Keep the spirit in making videos, I support whatever you do because your videos make my day💕💕💕
If you look up the recipes she makes, you’ll find many variations online! :) I’ve looked up many and they seem to be typical Japanese lunches/dinners. They’re very good! We can always watch the channel for the charming Imamu-isms added to each dish :)
You will be able to do it one day. When I learn a new language, I notice that I still translate in my head what I want to say until I become fluent in the new language

Your husband does an excellent job of washing the dishes. I was quite impressed. It's also nice to see that you are teaching your daughter to be bilingual. That will help her a lot in the future.
It is so injoy able hearing your daughter grow up.. I remember when she could barely talk... But that *"DON'T TOUCH THAT!!!"* 'Edit' seriously I have might have a meltdown.. your daughters too cute!! Epic episode of husbento!
This channel has taught me so many new cooking ideas. One of my favorites? Any sauce plus mayo makes a tasty new sauce. I have yet to find a bad combo. 😂
I really like the idea of just putting some condiments or seasoning and you can turn it into a simple salad. I always love the different things. She comes up. Her target sauce also looks amazing
I always wondered if Imamu was their family last name... and then today I realized it's probably umami spelled backwards. Am I the only one who was this slow to realize that 😅😅 It's a fitting name, especially since all of her recipes look so delicious!
not sure but i remember she mentioned somewhere before that it was just a nickname 😅 i didnt think she intended for it to spell umami backwards, but i think its really cool nonetheless!
I wish we had introduced our children to a wider range of foods when they were young. I wouldn't say that they are picky but I just love how your daughter gobbles everything up! Except tomatoes of course.
I had to leave another comment. I love that you didn't "correct" your daughter when she poured the eggs into the bento box from the cup where you had so carefully placed them. 24:08 Letting her "help" pack her own lunch leads to kids having confidence in their own abilities, and also helps forge a good relationship between the two of you. Well-done on your parenting. :-) Thank you again for your outstanding work.
Love "The Shining" tshirt! Edit: Oh my goodness you just gave us a homemade version of the Pepper Lunch rice, I LOVE YOU FOR THIS, THANK YOU!!!!!!! I LOVE Pepper Lunch! I will 100% be making that!
I love have you let us have a moment with just the kitchen noises, before the music starts to play as well:) It feels like we are having this morning with you, and sort of wake up when the music comes on. Have a good time at the wedding : )
Your videos have inspired me to make Bento lunches for my boyfriend every Wednesday! Hopefully my cooking is good enough that he will soon turn into my husbento :D
Hi, Imamu….I love the picture your mother sent you of the cherry blossoms in Japan! I live in Washington, DC, USA, where we have our cherry blossom festival every year. Our cherry blossoms are a gift from Japan!
I just realized you have more than 1 million subscribers now!! I remember when you first started posting and it was so clear that you had something wonderful and were going to be such a huge success, and here you are, being awesome and adorable and just so lovely to watch. Thank you for the sweet tiny glimpses of your life and all the great recipe ideas!!
Congrats on hitting 1 MILLION subscribers!! As much as I love the bento-making part of your videos, I admit that I’m also loving your family interactions a little bit more lately, maybe because your daughter is so adorable, sweet, and so smart! I loved her reaction to the offer of tomato in her bento (both times 😂). Enjoy your family wedding, stay safe and looking forward to husbento’s video! 🌸💕🤍💕🌸
Thanks for inspiring me to make myself a tasty lunch of corn rice. I love how lively your daughter was in this video. Your videos always brighten my day. Thank you for sharing your food and your family with us.
Yaaaay love your cooking videos! So relaxing and helps me get motivated for the day. I also love how your daughter has an english accent when she names the Anpanman characters!😂💕 so cute. Made me smile, cuz my kids do it too.
You really crack me up! I love you’re sense of humor. Also, I would really love a series on ramen and soup since I have a major problem watching ramen videos at bedtime
These videos are simply delightful, my grandmother-in-law just passed this week. She came to the U.S. from Japan after WWII and her absence has been greatly impacting our family. Watching your videos is helping me feel closer to her. I hope to learn to cook Japanese food so that I can bring that warmth back to our family and help preserve her memory through it. Thank you so much for making your videos. ❤️
Oh!! I've been trying out a lot of your recipes lately, and can't tell you how delicious they are!! Thank you for all the wonderful tips and delicious meals! ❤❤
Everything looks delicious as always especially the pork miso soup. Wow I’ve never seen green onions so big at our Asian markets here in Kentucky they are small regular size.
Happy regards to your family members on the wedding! I love your videos. They bring me peace and comfort when my life is very crazy. I appreciate all of your hard work and that you share these lovely insights into your day to day life. As an American, the comparisons between things that are normal for you when it comes to food combinations and what is normal for us are very different and it's fun to see what you do for your family. Like your daughter, my youngest son who just turned six years old loves fruit so much he would eat it and nothing else every day! Thank you again from an American mom who loves the serenity you bring.
Congratulations on hitting 1 million subscribers! So happy that your hard work has shown such results. Hope life gets better and much more easier for u 😆😊
I just want to say thankyou for making each and every video here, the cooking process, the bento formation and when you eat with your family brings a warm feeling. I wish my family could eat together like that too, so thankyou for these videos and I hope your family my best wishes
Beautiful video as always Imamu. Your videos always give me warm fuzzy feelings because I used to watch them when my daughter was a newborn. She’s already a year now, and watching your videos with her sleeping next to me is so bittersweet. 💕
I’ve never been this early! Your cooking has really inspired me and I love all the touches you add throughout that show the love you and your family share alongside your food. I really want to start making bento lunches for myself and the people I love!
Love this simple style of cooking! I've been wanting to make some of these recipes soon.I love also how you explain why you do everything like making the taste thicker with the different sauces and pastes.
Imamu! Another video with delicious meals and cute family moments! When I feel down or tired, I like to watch your videos as they make me feel better and help me get to sleep. Love from Scotland 🏴❤️
I just love your daughter she is so funny she made me laugh about the tomato LOL I also love your videos I always look forward to them and I don’t look forward to a lot of peoples videos on here as much as I look forward to yours great job as always love you guys
CONGRATS 1 MILLION SUBSCRIBER WOW I'M PROUD OF YOU!! I WATCHED YOUR VIDEO FOR THE FIRST TIME WHEN ITS LIKE UNDER 10 THOUSAND SUBSCRIBER, AND TIME FLIES SO FAST, CONGRATS IMAMU!!
You can use a rubber band for better grip to open caps or jar lids! Just wrap the rubber band around the cap or jar lid so it's tight. Thicker ones work better, I use the ones that come on vegetables from the store
These all look so delicious - your family are very lucky! The beef one looks so interesting to me - I think it was from Tuesday - the one where you marinate it over night. I want to try all of these, actually. Thank you for your attention to detail.
I swear to god Imamu, I'm from Argentina, and I'm looking like crazy to find miso paste for this coming winter just because of your soups 🤤 they look so yummy and I need to try to make them 😍
I laughed so loud at the green onion flying towards your throat 😆 of course I hope your throat is ok! I love love love your videos! Highlight of my week ❤️
I feel like crap bc yesterday I worked hard to clean the garage and got half of it done and I get migraines so today is a rest day so you uploading this video, thank you because I live for your videos. They always make me feel better. This is exactly what I need rn
I can't wait to try. Seem easy to follow and delicious, like those cheese/potato/pork rolls or the pepper lunch 😍 Really great ideas for us who end up always eating the same thing 😂
I've never even heard of fried parsley before. In Germany (and mostly all around Europe) we normally use it raw, as a garnish or part of a salad. Flat parsley salad is to die for ❤ Anyway, it was very interesting to see someone actually fry parsley!
Thank you for sharing all your recipes and family time with us! It is helping me out of a dark place and I am cooking more. Thank you so much for being a lovely person!
i don't have a partner or significant other but these videos are so fun and great to watch i might just start making bento boxes for myself as if i were my own husband or something lol
As a bento fanatic I am absolutely in love with this channel! Just so much inspiration and I just instantly want to cook every time I just watch your videos!
Owh sweet interaction between you and family. My heart feels so warm when i am watching this. Great effort from you for bento for sure. Thanks for sharing.
These videos are honestly such a great uplift whenever a new one comes out. Thank you very much for all the effort Imamu! I do have a quick question for whoever can answer. Are these bento meant to be kept cold, reheated, or eaten at room temperature?
gosh so many great recipes in this one! I wish you would make a cookbook, or even just a blog with the recipes typed up so we can make the recipes too!
I’ve been subscribed for like a year now and I love your wholesome videos! Whenever I fall into another season of intense cooking inspiration, your videos are really great to watch and get lost of ideas! :)
I loved seeing what you purchased from the Korean grocery! After the first time I used Kewpie, I refused to use American mayonnaise anymore. Kewpie is so much better! 😀 I had purchased shiro umeboshi the last time I went to a Japanese grocery store, which has been way too long ago because it's a little far, but hadn't opened the package until last night when i ran out of tuna for tuna mayo onigiri so i put the umeboshi on the last few and discovered I love umeboshi! Will definitely be buying more of them.
Sorry that was a typo 06:43. The seasoning is actually sake, mirin, soy sauce and sugar. Thank you〜!!
I just wanna let you know we will be away for a month to attend our family wedding. So I guess the next bento video will be June. ahh sorry(°▽°)!!

Oh my god me too!!
Yes please!!!!
Thank you but i’m still leaning and just enjoying freely lol but thanks for saying that:)
Me tooooo yes please if you have the time a cookbook that would be awesome.
If you look up the recipes she makes, you’ll find many variations online! :) I’ve looked up many and they seem to be typical Japanese lunches/dinners. They’re very good! We can always watch the channel for the charming Imamu-isms added to each dish :)
Your husband and daughter playing together after dinner was SO CUTE 😭
It's so sweet! These videos are like a warm hug, so comforting 💖💖💖
Oh rrrrro, oh rrrrro!
🤣🤣😁
“Sky? Sky?!?” “Yes?” lolllll
I thought she was a little girl 'cause her fingers look small to me TvT
I am loving your daughter's ability with English and Japanese. She moves so fluently between the two! I wish I could do that! Must. Try. Harder!

Your husband does an excellent job of washing the dishes. I was quite impressed. It's also nice to see that you are teaching your daughter to be bilingual. That will help her a lot in the future.
My dad also did that too. If he's home, he's in charge of doing dishes after me or my mother finished cooking
They live in Toronto, so it's definitely useful!
lol that man is THOROUGH dang.
I bet you wouldn't have said that if a woman had done that 'excelllent' job. Men should be able to do these bare minimum shit bro like come on.
That’s not an excellent job, that’s a normal job
It is so injoy able hearing your daughter grow up.. I remember when she could barely talk... But that *"DON'T TOUCH THAT!!!"*
'Edit' seriously I have might have a meltdown.. your daughters too cute!!
Epic episode of husbento!
Enjoyable. But I like Injoy Able more…
This channel has taught me so many new cooking ideas.
I found a Sriracha mayo and decided to try it out. So good! It's great on pizza.
I always wondered if Imamu was their family last name... and then today I realized it's probably umami spelled backwards. Am I the only one who was this slow to realize that 😅😅 It's a fitting name, especially since all of her recipes look so delicious!
Oh i just realised that! That’s actually really clever!
I hadn't even thought of it until you said this! I bet you're right! Very clever and very cute.
I think its separated from i and mamu, i is from internet or electronic of some sorts, and mamu is from eng to japanese word of Mom using U
could be both! which makes it that much more clever and cute
not sure but i remember she mentioned somewhere before that it was just a nickname 😅 i didnt think she intended for it to spell umami backwards, but i think its really cool nonetheless!
FINALLY, I'VE WAITING ALL WEEK FOR THIS, THANK YOU, IMAMUUUU!!!!
Same 💛
Me toooo
Your husband is one lucky guy every meal looks so incredible 😋 and I love that you take some much time and effort into making each one 💛
Miss ma'am I literally see you everywhere
Your daughter sounds really happy and talkative! It's great to see how much she's grown up
We need a cookbook!
I love the family meal scenes too, it's just adorable watching you all enjoy those delicious meals.
I would totally buy her cookbook!!
I wish we had introduced our children to a wider range of foods when they were young. I wouldn't say that they are picky but I just love how your daughter gobbles everything up! Except tomatoes of course.
"You're very hayai" was just like me when I started learning Japanese 😂

Hello imamu!!! Another week of tasty dishes already look amazing by the thumbnail!! Thank you for making this video, I love your channel ❤️❤️❤️
I've learned how to cook many dishes from this channel. Ham and cheese katsu is probably the one that I was most surprised by how good it is.
Its so interesting listening to your daughter seamlessly switch from Japanese to English mid sentence.

That beef bbq bento reminded me of pepper lunch! I’m def going to try it for my husband cause he really enjoyed it while in Japan
Yes!!!! It's a definite hit!
thank you internet mother for calming me in this time of need. my heart will beat happy today.
You can use a rubber band for better grip to open caps or jar lids! Just wrap the rubber band around the cap or jar lid so it's tight. Thicker ones work better, I use the ones that come on vegetables from the store
Congrats on the 1 million subscribers 🤩🎉
Your daughter taking the egg out of the cup was so funny and cute!! Your videos are the best 💞💞
And Imamu picking up the cup afterward, seeing it empty, and just going with it rather than try and “correct” her….so sweet and very relatable 😄💟
These all look so delicious - your family are very lucky! The beef one looks so interesting to me - I think it was from Tuesday - the one where you marinate it over night. I want to try all of these, actually. Thank you for your attention to detail.
I swear to god Imamu, I'm from Argentina, and I'm looking like crazy to find miso paste for this coming winter just because of your soups 🤤 they look so yummy and I need to try to make them 😍
Congrats on 1 million subscribers!!
That's so nice of you to do this for him! I can't believe how your daughter can speak clearly! You've taught her well! 💗
Thank you so much for being a lovely person!
i don't have a partner or significant other but these videos are so fun and great to watch i might just start making bento boxes for myself as if i were my own husband or something lol

my dose of sunshine! thanks for the upload Imamu 💗
I read once that her husband eats them room temp & if you want to reheat it, to find a bento box that can be reheated. Hopefully that helps!
I love watching your channel! It's so wholesome and really brightens my day to see you upload.
Omg congratulations on 1 Million subscribers!! Aahh!
gosh so many great recipes in this one! I wish you would make a cookbook, or even just a blog with the recipes typed up so we can make the recipes too!
"very hayai, daddy" a truly bilingual kid. Also, too cute.
one of the most wholesome and interesting cooking videos I've ever seen! your husband is very lucky!
i honestly never liked "regular" mayo until i tried kewpie mayo... thanks to you! :D now i'm hooked lol.
There's also kewpie salad dressing! ♥️
Absolutely love the variety, the well balance meals, and the way you present this every week!
We need more huswashing ASMR content
It was so awesome. Gave me nostalgia and reminded me of the Sims because of the ffwd. 🙂
Thank you for all the ideas. I watch your videos and then copy down stuff into my notebook!
I am moving in with my boyfriend in a couple of months and I can't wait to cook your recipes with him ❤️💜❤️

Your husband could have his own channel his dishwashing was so satisfying. I could watch it again and again. Lol
