Yeah, he didnt contribute a lot this game. He missed a couple of sitters so he was probably very happy Bobb saved the day.
@My_dog_is_my_heart he's been in a bit of a poor patch ATM. Scores, always in the right place to, but wasteful. Him and Haaland ATM, although surely pep is turning them both into CAMs lol
@@johnwhalley8270 To even call Haaland wasteful is a bit laughable. Haaland has been injured for over a month, still he is top scorer in the league and even without KDB who is usually the only one who manage to play Haaland through. When you create as many chances as Haaland does for himself with his movements, you will of course miss some chances, but what makes Haaland unique is that when he miss he usually also scores, and thats why he has always had around 1 goal per game and even more when he gets the supply he as a striker needs.
Alvarez has played every game and has 6 goals in the league. He also has a rather terrible shoot accuracy of 41% which means he only hit the target 4 times out of ten shots (6 of the shots isnt even on the goal’. People say his shots are so great but if you shoot as much as he does, you will hit the target eventually. Sometimes he should pass to a better placed teammate instead of shooting. He is also pretty slow to move tthe ball forward. He usually, as a lot of others (KDB, Foden, Bobb being the exception), and he rather play sideways than through to Haaland when they play together. Bobb can play in several positions and he can also make a quick pass forward as he showed when he played Foden through with that amazing pass. He has done the same several times for the academy and national team. He also has much better control of the ball, and can go past defenders in small spaces, so when Haaland returns I really hope Haaland can play with KDB, Foden and Bobb cause then he will score lots of goals again.
What people also seem to ignore is that Haaland not only has a way harder working environment than Alvarez and other strikers (cause only by his preesence teams have 2-3 defenders around him which creates space for others), but he hasnt been supplied a lot this season. They havent used his strengths, but still he is top scorer as I said. It annoys me when people say «he plays for City, so its easy to score goals», but the only player who usually finds Haaland is KDB and he has been injured all season. Its not like Haaland scores more for City because he gets supplied a lot. He was used way more at Dortmund.
@@In_my_own_mind Yeah, I get entirely what you mean. I love the guy personally! And yeah, throw lots at the wall and see what sticks, I think that's generally the way I view him. He's a bit of an Aguero or a Tevez bit more low centre of gravity compared to Haaland who's just a bit of a tank. Got high high hopes for bobb too! Very exciting times as a city fan. Not to mention the Do-Coup transfer!
