Thank you for all of your great information. It has been the most informative of all videos I've viewed thus far.

Hello everyone! It's Brandon from the Video! I am no longer an English teacher anymore so I probably can't give so much updated information about what it's like being one. However, I worked as an English teacher here in Berlin for 2 years, went through the VISA process, and had an amazing time thanks to ITA. I highly recommend following your dreams.
I do still live in Germany! You can find my instagram in the video and you can send me a message there if you have questions, but please know that I'm not equipped to answer everything- especially if it has to do with ITA (I don't work for them!). I'll try to answer them even though I'm not teaching anymore.
Happy teaching and achieve your 2023 (and beyond) goals!

Hey. I have a tefl already in class 120 hours. What visa does one apply for when looking to teach in germany. I'm coming from South Africa but I'm assuming that it's the same for most non-europeans seeking work there. I've heard that you'd need to apply for a freelancer visa but not much clarity on that.

I also have a TEFL certificate from ITA and Germany is one of the places I wanted to teach. I’ve done a lot of research on Germany, but I decided to wait a while because of the coronavirus. Are you getting much work during these times, or is it mostly online? Also, how was your experience with expat launcher, and do you recommend using them before moving?

Hi Brandon. Quick question: do I need to have my B.ed degree or is a transcript also acceptable?

Which company did you get hired with to teach in Berlin? And how do you make 900-1300 when Germany taxes like half your paycheck.

I’m so glad I found your channel! I’m a Queer Teacher as well! ❤ I’ve been offered a job at the Universitat Heidelberg in Germany. Although very exciting, I’m on the hunt to confirm this isn’t a scam. I’m hoping you can help🙏
For context, I’ve been working overseas in Asia for nearly a decade , and only studied abroad in Europe. This German offer came so unexpectedly so I’m needing assistance on its validity. I’m willing to share the email information if you can assist me in some way!

I am quite horrified by your decision as an American citizen, as you told us by yourself that you are merely making your ends meet by all of this effort.

Germany is awesome. If you’re young or not trying to start a family, why not simply make ends meet for a while and enjoy the culture?

What's the point in living without a little effort? Especially if it rewards you with a whole new culture to explore as a resident?
