Thank you for this teaching. I would add that perhaps the townspeople were afraid whwn they came upon the healed possessed man and Jesus, is their livelihood. When Jesus cast the demons into the pigs who stampeded into the lake and drowned, someone lost their income. Maybe the lesson the bible intends for us to learn is that some people value their money, their income, more than they value a sick persons being healed.
