Beautiful snippet rolls. I watched with the grandkids before I dropped them at the airport. I had them yesterday and today, thier parents drove up to Atlanta Airport yesterday. My 16yr old granddaughter went to a quinceaquina and my 16 year old grandson stayed to fly up with her today. The are all meeting at the airport and driving to North Carolina where they bought property. My 22 yr old granddaughter stayed with us too. We stayed up late watched movies and giggled. Such fun.🐞💖
I wish my sewing machine did all those pretty stitches, but I am pleased I have even a basic one. Loving the fabric strips on the page edges...and that tatted owl is just so precious. Thank you from my heart, Gayle, for all you'd wonderful videos.

I belong to a sewing guild that encompasses both apparel seamstresses as well as quilters and have accumulated many totes full of fabric scraps over the years. I have always wanted to try out lots of different embroidery stitching by hand, but I get impatient pretty quickly. It occurs to me that I could use the making of a snippet fabric strip as an opportunity to make those short seams, each in a different embroidery stitch. I'd use up a lot of fabric scraps, have a lovely roll and get to experiment with stitching by hand... but not for too long on any one of them! Thanks for showing exactly how you do these - it is so, so helpful, you have no idea...

I find the sound of the sewing machine to be more soothing than annoying. I think I associate it with my mom and good memories. Thread barf is what I call that big tangle of thread and it happens to all of us!

I think it was ArtyMaze … she used a glue stick just to hold things in place before sewing. I was skeptical but it worked very well. 😊

I’m a new quilter, of little over 2 years, my husband was helping me with learning measurements and all, but..wanted to quit last October, so..I haven’t sewn since then. Makes me totally disappointed to say the least, but..I’m using and watching U-tube videos on all you ladies that have sewing channels trying to learn things from you. So cute!👍🌞❤ We've had temperatures in the high 90s for over 10days, with dew points in the 70s & "feel likes" well over 100!! It's been horrible! This morning I have every window open, as it's only in the 70s with pretty low humidity and a beautiful breeze! I air out every chance I get! A/C is a necessary evil! Ideally I'd live on the northern Pacific coast. 😕

Quick tip use your glue tick to position fabric in stead of pins. Iron it good before you see so it doesn’t clog needle. Watch you every day! Hope you find the mouse😊

I use brown and cream thread the most. I purchase General Purpose thread. I usually keep two spools of each color on hand. And, yes, I do pre-wind bobbins. ❤️
