I've told this story but I'm gonna "humblebrag it" again. I saw them in Detroit with Jerry's Misfits around the Day The Earth Caught Fire and I had the CD hook-up at the time because I had a Japanese snail-mail pen-pal that had been sending me their CDs because they were next to impossible to find at the time.
Anyway, I showed them the Balzac tattoo I had gotten, and the entire band gathered and SMILED and said "I was the first American fan they had seen with one in person". One of them even got a shot of us all together when he grabbed his personal Sony Hi-8 camcorder... great times
