Happy Birthday to Peko and Decky! That Peko is in heat at her age speaks of her general good health. Though, she better be careful with Ibuki on the prowl. I find it interesting that Ibuki is so active with the females at his young age. Good to see the troop vocal and enjoying a sunny winter day. And, thank you for showing the cute baby Rhino.

開園初日からインドサイのデコポンに会えるとは幸運ですね！羨ましいですw ペコさんもデッキーも高齢ながら健康に年を迎えられて良かったです。デッキーは推しのチンパンジーなので、これからも応援していきます。
多摩もまたいつか行く予定ですが、自分はまず約１０日後くらいに熊本行って、「到津の森公園」と「熊本市動植物園」に行ってきます！
キンシコウに絶対に会いたいので、常にホームページはチェックしてますが、高齢なので急変は心配ですね・・・こちらも頑張ってきます！

到津は、午前がユパ、シータで午後がマリオ、イチゴのパターンが多いです。

1月1日はペコ様、デッキー様の誕生日☆ペコ様64歳。素晴らしい。
キュー様とアヌーラ様も誕生日ですね。多摩は偉大な方が誕生日ですね。
ベリーちゃんのディスプレイ素敵☆
ジン君はなんか自信に満ちあふれていますね。身体も大きくなりました。さすがチェリー様の孫であり、ピーチ様の子。ピーチ様は貫禄はスゴイですが今は娘大事ですね。プラムちゃんは本当に5歳？というオーラ。そして身体も大きい。相変わらずディル君に優しい。ディル君はすっかりプラム親衛隊かな。ディル君とシジミちゃんはパパ似かな。ミカンママは相変わらず可愛いです。ペコ様とディル君の時間は本当に良いですね。多摩も青空に緑、、そして美しいチンパンジー！今は木が枯れてますが。ディル君はペコ様が大好きですね。
多摩は、日本最高齢の宝庫ですね。
デッキーも数年前と比べても自信がみなぎってました。ミカンもジンもたのしい性格です。年齢的に未熟なところがあるのは当然でそれも魅力です。

ディルのペコ様始め、発情期のレディに対するジェントルマンな態度は「いずれは皆、ディルの子分になる」要素の一つだなと思いました。
ベリーは若手では、というか全員含めても最も理性的なチンプだと思ってますが、早朝だけは始めてますね。イブキがディルの時には凄い子チンプだ、とおもってましたが、ディルが現れた。🥰ありがとうございます。🙏✨

So in chimp society, when a female is in heat, are they obligated to allow the young male chimps to "practice" mating with them?? Or can they refuse? I noticed Ibuki throwing a fit once because the female that he was continuing to "mate" with finally got tired of him and was refusing him. He went ballistic 😂 His hormones were definitely raging that day! I can't look at him anymore without that coming to mind😢😅 It's all very strange to me.
I think a lot of it has to do with frustration. He's all worked up but can't really do anything about it yet. Fubuki was the same way and I assume it's common in young males.
Zoo keepers should put in Fubuki in Gin group..
