It’s definitely awesome, but that album version has the synth which kicks in on the 2nd verse and makes me weep like a little gremlin. I love the way he does the vocals on the album track, tons of room sound. This is definitely awesome though.
You can play it this way on guitar in standard tuning. Em, C, Am, A5 ... I think!! As for how to originally do it with the weird ass tuning I don't know and also want to know lol
It depends which version you want to play. If you want the one from kids or sebadoh III, you need a whacky ass tuning you can find on ultimate guitar. Never played this version tho.

When I heard this song on the movie Kids (1995) I thought it was Elliot Smith
was listening to elliott smith and someone compared him to lou barlow so i thought i''d check him out and i am not dissapointed. this is quality.
