carlos vela has mentioned he has no interest in futbol outside of the games he plays he thinks its boring he has said it his self that his true love is basketball
I think Vela got disappointed by the corruption in Mexican soccer and he’s ego made him turn he’s back on the national team knowing the national team needed him more that him needing them.
@04:52 He's talking about points/goals. Are you listening to what he's saying? There's also (Slightly innaccurate) captions for you to read what he's saying.
I agree that injury at Arsenal really stopped his momentum a team like Arsenal is so big there not waiting on any player but I know without a doubt he could of literally played on any elite team and be one of the all time greats ⚽️🇲🇽
I don’t think they started by hating it. I think they loved the sport. But that sport they loved became a job. Media is a horrible bunch. I’m sure it got to him.
Carlos Vela doesn't like football as much as basketball, he declined going to a couple world cups , playing for the national team, and going to better clubs just because he prefers to be comfortable more than anything. Iam Mexican and he always said to the mexican media he just didnt like playing football, for him it was just a job to do .
I don’t wanna be that guy and I might be wrong but he could’ve been below or at least next to Messi . He could’ve been the best . He don’t like this sport sadly . We could’ve had griezzman x vela duo 😢
it's not really "hate" more like he's not interested on it, training, watching games, etc. A bit like Jokic where he saw football as a 9 to 5... crazy talented but also under appreciated by Wenger (tbf there was not much space to play a youngster at the time) and Mexico's National Team (lots of drama and he got unfairly blamed for some things, basically as a scapegoat). But he left his mark on Arsenal (chipping goals), on Mexico's NT (being one of the best talents ever) and obviously Real Sociedad (getting them back to champions league being the best on the pitch next to now known players such as with griezmann, seferovic, iñigo martinez, claudio bravo, zurutuza, etc and against lacazette, umtiti, gourcuff, fofana *just named the lyon team they beat on 2013*, his name being mentioned as the best La Liga player after Messi and Cristiano, just insane lore honestly). But he honestly was never interested in physical stuff and that took a toll on possible atleti madrid signings and just maintaining that top level. He just didn't care, he showed up and balled but we could all see the insane talent he had.
As humans we all have problems. But this guy chose his arrogance over his abilities and potential which a lot of people dream of. I think the guy is mentally confused I could b wrong but that is my opinion

But he said he still enjoy playing
And basketball it is boring

Honestly, I don’t blame him
dude the national team used him as a scapegoat
No, he got caught with prostitutes and then got suspended. After that, he all of a sudden hated mexico. He's petty.
Mexico has so many what ifs it’s crazy 😭
Great reaction tho, love your videos!
Thank you!!👍🏾
Vela didnt hate soccer but he certianly didnt see himself playing and didnr want to do it professionally. He has always been very reserved
Carlos vela refused to play for Mexico in the 2014 World Cup in his prime to o
Yeah but that’s because of how the Mexican federation is run. He didn’t wanna be part of that but he did it for the country in 2018
Marco Fabian reaction please
Griezmann said vela is more gifted than him
Vela should have been in his spot
What professional football player do you know that would turn down playing a World Cup?

React to America vs cruz azul

Batistuta (Argentinian) also was not a futbol aficionada what he really loved and also practice was Polo.

Imagine 😢 Vela in his prime playing for Mesi's Barsa... Or if Giovanni dos Santos had better discipline.
Vela had potential to be the Mexican messi
Why is bro in so much denial😭
Hate is to far he just doesn’t love it like other pros and did not pursue being among the elite in the world even when having the ability 🇲🇽⚽️
i don’t think he hated he disliked it he prefers basketball also another factor is why he stopped playing for the mexican national team was corruption
