Knowing what a pro makeup artist’s thinking process is, questions they as clients to get to know their skin type, preferences and issues, what problems they may run into mid makeover and how they correct it when they don’t have time to redo it all, etc. What do you do when you get to a point and the foundation you’ve used is no longer looking as good, or you are in a situation where the makeup is breaking up or pilling dealing badly, not looking as you were wanting? How do you fix this without having to remove the whole base and skincare?

I love that you make it clear how you recommend a product or shade because it works for you but others might not. Hello Nic, I really loved both looks you did here. Don’t tell me… you went out for the school run with two odd eyes…😂😅. I’ve only tried the kosas powder and I liked it for setting under eyes but it’s difficult to tell if you actually have some on your brush. Great honest reviews, really enjoyed it. I have the foundation, powder and concealer but haven’t tried any of their other items. Next time I’m in Atlanta I’m hoping to check out the rest of their line. The Sephora at the Lenox Mall had a great selection of that brand.
I had the foundation and concealer. Like them both but as I didn't use the foundation regularly..when I came back to it after a while ( only about 3 months at max) ,it did smell weird. I had read that somewhere and maybe I was expecting it to smell off...anyway it put me off using it again. I still use the concealer though and it's fine . Love your videos and found the Shiseido revitalessence skin glow after seeing you use it. 😊x
Do you by chance have a recommendation for a similar product to the bb cream but that doesn’t have sun screen or any other kind of skin care ingredients in it? I am allergic to most everything so I can’t try all these lovely new formulas. Thanks for the years and years and years of lovely videos!
Nic, you don’t have to do two separate filming set ups. Just film horizontally as you are, then if you or whoever edits your videos uses FCP you can use projectomatic to ‘reversion’ your videos into vertical and square. The video can be easily moved wherever you want it and it will be a vertical shape. Yours sincerely - a professional shoot edit :) (Obv social videos tend to be shorter so there’s that.)
I think that when it comes to clean makeup there's A limitation with how many different shades can be made since the pigments are natural minerals from mother earth 😊
PLEASE be careful with this foundation. (Revealer) It’s been causing some horrible reactions. It literally burned my skin, and this only happened a couple months after using and loving it. Reviews on Sephora show many people experienced the same thing. The brand needs to pull and reformulate it.
