She wants him to be the best he can be and went out of her way to destroy Ishtar Familia (one of the more powerful ones who kidnapped him and tried to use him against her and also rape), supporting Hestia by teasing Loki(she wanted to know how she grew so fast but Freya came out with an excuse), almost destroyed Apollo(Also tried to take him away), and then finally ruined Hermes plan which would have sullied bell pure soul with regret, sorrow, pain and hatred by implementing her own one opposite of all those emotions. Since Freyas familia is one of the strongest ones she has the means to protect him. And her familia is extremely loyal to her so what she says goes. No one dares to oppose her as seen by what she did to Ishtar. That is why Loki familia was wary of angering her. The minotaur was acting with the Xenos which are lead by Ouranos and Fels. Asterius just wanted to fight bell which Hermes did not factor in causing him to miscalculate the outcome. His only reasons for living are protecting the Xenos and fighting Bell so they are considered a separate group entirely. Hermes also did not expect Freya to get involved as he pleaded with her not to under the pretense that this is for Bell's good. And that he has a plan for him. Little did he know Freya had a much better plan which put him to shame and eventually got drop kicked by Hestia. Obviously, he is now in bad taste with many people but made it clear that he would continue to meddle in Bell's life as he is a 'fan'. She ordered 100 of her familia members, full of level 6s and 5s with one level 7 to stop the Loki Familia in their tracks, the only familia that could possibly stand against her. She was able to rally the other Gods to not let their Kids interfere in their bell fight so the people can see that he was the only one protecting them thus restoring his honor. She also protected the Xenos life by allowing them to escape and by making bell lose, she was able to give him the resolve to grow stronger to protect his loved ones and a lifelong rival in Asterius a level 7 after 6 months of training, also saving his life in the process. Basically, she is bell secret protector and lifeline, she would not let him die and if he did die she had made it clear that she would "chase him to heaven" cause that's how deep her love for him is, meaning she is willing to sacrifice everything she has and had over the 1000 years she was on earth to be with him. She will do whatever it takes to protect those under her especially bell no matter how dirty the means. Making her quite a scary Waifu. Spoiler she is willing to sleep with a dirty dwarf for 4 nights to get the gulliver brothers and consider it a small price to pay. The author always plays the deity and mortal thinks in different plains trope but this is the main reason why bell should not be with her. She has slept with too many people from both gender. Although that nature is innate and she has always existed with it and cant help herself that is her main drawback. She loves bell pure soul but in the end she will be the one who makes him impure from all her past actions. Ais could be an airhead and Ryu could be too serious but at least those two protects their chastity more than the Goddess.
