The Boeing 727-200 is my first plane which have several 1:200 scale diecast models. I've flown on a Delta Air Lines Boeing 727-200 two different times in two different liveries, Anerican Airlines & Sun Country (once on AA & Sun Country). Looks like they do most or all of the work there when I think now parts get transported in from some where else for an example the Boeing 737 fuselage now days get transported by rail and/or by truck from videos I've seen some time ago & I think now too other parts get transported by air in a modified Boeing 747. I don't mind corrections if I'm wrong as I'm not an expert as some are. God Bless!
The Boeing tour was used to recruit friendly people to work at Boeing. Californians with aeronautic experience were brought in to manage the commercial airplane group assembly. They couldn't stand the King and Pierce County stoners and drunks that were building the planes so HR would have the tour guides observe the tour audience and most of the friendly and fun ones were from CA or Midwest and were asked to apply for jobs after the tour.
3 man crew. What if in case of emergency, the new heading needs to be re-entered to the autopilot. Then both pilots will scramble for the manual, checklist, fiddling with the buttons, then execute. Who's flying the plane then? Nobody. We really need the flight engineer position back. His salary is equal to that of just single tanking for an overseas flight.
I loved working on the 727 as an aircraft mechanic.
11:51 id like to work on the tail
16:19 that how they would organize the 737s and 727s cabins cool
Most excellent. Right into my AVIATION playlist. Thank you. ROCK ON!!!!!!
08:24 ive flown in many Libyan 727s, its amazing to watch one of them being built in this video
Re-upped with much better audio, and slightly better colour.
Groovy soundtrack!

Thanks for this wonderful Film. I love it so much!
they are still building 737s there, and will be for a long time. Went to open house when my dad worked there. They made hydrofoils there too
Didn't Boeing have a division that built buses too? It was a partnership with Grumman.
Amazing. 10, 444 Boeing 737s built as of Dec 2018!
You sure put together good stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing video, loved the 727.
The DC-3 of the jet age.
19:07 it was Mexicana airlines cool 🇲🇽
Very large and comfortable-looking passenger seats. The first victim of airline deregulation.
Thank the Carter Administration for that!
The seats you saw first were in the first class section. Back in coach there were 6 abreast

I like the ramp at the rear too. Early models could open in flight.
There was an Airworthiness Direcctive that addressed that problem after the "D. B. Cooper" affair.
The Boeing 707, 727 & 737 came from the same mold which makes sense as the nose design all look the same.
This plane became N441BN with Braniff.
727. was one of the noisiest airplanes ever made.. thirsty too.. but it was a hot rod as airliners go. could take off any where.

I remember that wire shop and the templates. I think it's all gone now.
1972 was a tough year for Seattle...

16:32 16:42 17:27 what is this song it sounds fantastic
I came here just to see the 737-100 and 737-200. But this video is all about 727.
@biukucanoe, including the forthcoming 737 MAX.
boeing needs to make the 727-300 same style but 2 man crew!

hmmmm....
I liked the 727. But it burned a lot of fuel compared to its successor, the 757.
MrShobar Ferrari GTO also burns more fuel than Prius. I'd still want the Ferrari though.
The 727 was no Ferrari. And the fuel appetite was measured in tons, not gallons.
“Recognized at the free world airports.” Then goes on to show a Libyan Arab Airlines 707 and 727 😂
do you have the 727 promo film
Not yet, hopefully someday.
The sound is off a lot.
And look at Beoing now. A fowl corporation. Just like all corporations. fowl.
