Do you think the Ninja Blast Max is a legit upgrade over the original Blast? If you liked this, you might like to see the review for the original Ninja Blast MAX! th-cam.com/video/xSX3g9U_gcE/w-d-xo.html
It seems like a backwards move to make the "premium" version a proprietary cord, while the base model has a USB-c. Not arguing the extra "brick", but the base part should be a USB-C, so you have the option on keeping their charger, or just use one you already have.
You don’t have to drink with the base attachment. If you flip it upside down and unscrew the base, and put on the vessel cap that solves that problem 😂
@@JoesPhenomenal I would, if they had stuck with the usb c port... i hope they will do it when it gets released here in the EU... the more powerfull motor and added modes will certainly help getting through difficult to blend items.
I had to replace my ninja blast three times due to it failing to charge after a period of 2-3 months. Did you experience this issue? I'm hoping the upgrade will be better.
That's true.. But depending on the device, especially with phones these days many of them very a lot on max amperage, and whatnot... If anything it would be a nice courtesy, since there are definitely a lot of people that don't have extra ones laying around... Felt the same way when they quit including chargers with $1000 phones. In any case, it could shave been a Greta opportunity to include a charging system powerful enough to run the blender off AC when the battery is low.. Maybe with higher torque, etc.
I really like the style and function of the 22oz however, there's no replacement / extra cups or lids available for this platform which is frustrating. Not sure if I will get the 22oz (blast max) just because of that lack of availability.
I got the Ninja Blast Max since this week. I love it but I got a question. Is it normal when I take the cup, I hear sound with the lid? Like some little squicks. I don't put a lot of pressure and the lid is well twisted. It's like the cup expand or something.
But what kind of plastic are they? Are they the somewhat soft and flexible (sports bottle) plastic, or hard rigid (full size blender) plastic? Because id expect something like this would be tossed in a bag, or dropped. Durability is a consideration. Another one is staining and cleaning. Shock absorbing plastic stains and scratches more easily.
Modern cars come with USB connections, also, people buy plug-ins for their accessory circle. Back in the day they used to be lighters. I have one in my plug-in that is a USB and a C connect. They are all over. USB connections are everywhere and anybody savvy will have a blockor two, I mean it is 2024.
Very true, and I getcha and agree to everything you said. I still think there should be one in the box as a courtesy if nothing else. It really costs them nothing to do that. I really hated when the phone manufacturers.quit including those. Nowadays, those phones have faster charging, that you'd need a more powerful adapter for to take full advantage of as well. IMO, Ninja could have integrated better charging tech into both of these blenders, actually.... At least then, you'd probably be able to operate it plugged in if you ran your battery out.. or maybe even have it run higher torque when plugged in... Lots of neat stuff they could have done with that, I think.
How is it to clean? I have the Ninja max and blendjet 2. Sometimes I forget to clean them right away and I have to take the gaskets out of the bottom where the blades are. It can get gross or smelly. I was just wondering if you have had a hard time cleaning the blade all the way down in the container and is there a way to get under the gaskets if need be? Thanks!
I haven't had anything get under there, personally, but you can pop it out to clean under it. Not so much a problem with the max though, since you don't have to deal with that. To clean them, I just drop in a little dish soap and some warm tap water, and run a blend cycle or two. If you do it right away, it does a fantastic job and you don't have to get your fingers anywhere near though blades.
Hey my friend, nutribullet pro 900 is better than this for one banana, oats, yogurts, peanut butter and protein? Or also ninja blast max can help? Thanks!
I personally would go with the Nutribullet. You don't have a battery to worry about, and it has more torque so it won't jam as easily as those portables.

Ok I was going to buy the more expensive one but really a proprietary charger? Pass.
Hope they will come outwith a v2 that use usb c charging!
Agreed

About the portability: you have an early version of the blast, they added a screw on bottom for the cup, and a protective cap for the blades.
Hmm... Nice updates on that. Do you still like it better than the new one given those changes?

You can make Filipino Halo Halo with that fine “snow”. 😊

I haven't had any battery issues with either one, but they don't get a ton of consistent use, either.
In the 2024 age who doesn't have an USB plug?🤔

9:40 but why everyone has like a million laying around at home? And if you don't own a spare one, you can easily get one. But the environment wins
Good point.

I'd imagine the supply on that stuff is coming. Ninja is famously slow at making accessories available for whatever reason.
@ okay, that’s good to know. I’ll just wait til it’s available. But for now, I got the 18oz with 4 extra bottles, lids, and button stoppers.
Yeah girl, the Max is fairly new.

It's made out of that same abs plastic that full sized blender pitchers are made out of. Seems pretty sturdy.
@@JoesPhenomenal seems sturdy? Drop it.
@kewlztertc5386 lol... I have to admit that I've wanted to with those portables quite a few times!
Appreciate the very informative video.
Thanks!
Moomoo and Bean are the best video props 😂❤
They are!
"At first glance, these two seem almost identical"
Meanwhile they look completely different haha
Still love the review though
Must be that lazy eye of mine. :)

Can we charge it when traveling to Europe?
You can but you'll need to get 240 to 120 adapter.
awesome channel
Thanks!
You have convinced me--too much trouble. I don't want either one.
No more bricks please. My drawer is full of them 😂

@paokdz they can, but if the mix gets thick, it will jam it or possibly overheat it.
