@@HairSystemDIYhow well does it hold? I’m scared if I go to the beach or go on a roller coaster it won’t hold but it’s not like I’ll be doing that often anyways
I just got a custom french lace with poly sides and back with 100 percent density. Its got a A contour front. Im 58 So You are correct 100 percent is to thick for this age. You can not tell it is a system. even closeup. But i will be ordering another piece but with 80-90 density and 40 mm wave 32 mm wave is to wavy. This time will be a full lace piece as my last piece I find tye poly sides and back make me sweat to much. Does not feel to comfortable on my head. 36 year hair wearer, Your videos spot on You answer all the questions for new hair wearers!!!👍👍👍
I so hope they come out with something like it for the 50+ crowd. You nailed everything with this one (as usual). It's probably damn near ideal for someone 20 - 40 whose hairline is compatible with the Tyler and who has minimal to no gray. Us old guys are still looking for something like this. Hoping Lavivid is listening! Hehe. Sadly I'm not a fan of custom ordering. Just takes too long. Keep up the great work Adam! This unit looks great on you!
Dude, my systems from “lord hair” looks so bad and dry and matted and shed loads after like 6 weeks! So to hear yours has lasted 6 months is crazy! Where do I buy! 😅

Thanks mate! I seldomly comment but after watching your videos I just got a full swiss after a year of wearing a 0.6mm Poly. I'll give one of these a shot once the new lace one wears out!
Love your hair system in the video x I got a system a few years ago and it was horrific. I was mortified and too scared to do it again but ur hair is so so real xx what’s the name of your hair.
I would like to see men's hair systems with straight hair covering the forehead because not all men wear their hair slicked back but that's the only hairstyle you see on men's hair systems.
I've been wearing poly units for the last 12 months now and wanna move on to a lace system for a more realistic front as I like to wear my hair up and swept back. I can't decide between the Tyler or Adrian, not to mention all the other lace-based options. It's all a bit overwhelming! Any advice??
@HairSystemDIY I don't know any other system other than poly so far and though it itches sometimes, it's never bothered me too much. For me it's all about that front hair line! Interested to know how they compare after you've tried the Adrian.
@HairSystemDIY that is helpful information! You and Jake Kent have such great content and it's very helpful! Do you ever do consulting for newbie guys with questions?
I finally bit the bullet and had my consultation with a stylist after a lot of information that was a lot to take in,we went through my lifestyle and daily habits and she has gone with a mono system as I workout 4 days a week and have a physical job but recently found out mono are on the cheaper side and I am worried it won’t look good
@@HairSystemDIYI did see it on the list but she never mentioned it,was just a wealth of information to fit into a 30 minute consultation,I was just going by her recommendation for me for my lifestyle and she said my hair is quite thick as well so would better suit to a mono,I mean I don’t know whether it’s a mono with a lace front or anything I guess I will have to get in touch with her tomorrow and ask 😂
@@HairSystemDIY found out it’s a mono with French lace at the front,it’s to late to cancel the order now as it’s already been shipped,Its my first ever hair system so I’ll just try it and see how I get on with I guess with hair systems a lot of it is down to trial and error,I will give it a couple of months see how I do with mono but I’m for sure going to buy a Tyler system aswell as a rotation it’s seems more fitting for my lifestyle thanks for the replies I’ve now got a ton of your videos to watch to get even more clued up thanks Adam 👍
You keep it in good shape!!😃

Go with a 60%, as 80% is too dense for your age.
Good stuff, waiting for a nine-month review!
I did a Shorts about it mate. Got to 8 months before serious shedding happened so I retired it. Still good for 8 months from a system though !

Thank you. There’s definitely an option on some systems like the Swiss Helios you can get lower densities but not as yet on the Tyler

I’m about to try the Adrian soon. The Tyler is great though. V comfortable

Lace is the system to get if you want a invisible hairline
@HairSystemDIY could you do a complete unboxing and install video when you get the Adrain 🙏 ?
@mythinktube difficult as I take it to my stylist to get it cut in and fitted. Will see if she is ok with me filming
Your hairline looks natural, how many systems do u buy a year
3-4
whats the base thickness of it?
Slightly thicker than lace
have you worn it consistently for 6 months or do you swap it in with other systems?
I‘ve worn it about 70-80% of the time mate. The other 20-30% was a French lace and then an ultra thin skin 👍
@@HairSystemDIY so it's maybe more like the equivalent of 4 months worth of continuous wear ?
@michaelhayes476 I’d say as it stands yes. I’ve also been wearing it in extreme climates like the Caribbean and the Mediterranean (twice)
Can you put tape in the middle of the tyler system like you would with any poly?
Yup

How's the breathability?
Not as good as a full French or Swiss lace but ok.
@HairSystemDIY thanks for the response. I'm considering getting a system. Durability is important to me and so is breathability
@rtzend4311 for what it’s worth I wore this system for half of my holiday in a very hot climate (31C, 88F) every day and the system felt fine
@HairSystemDIY that is helpful information! You and Jake Kent have such great content and it's very helpful! Do you ever do consulting for newbie guys with questions?
@rtzend4311 yep, check the description below the video, my details are there 👍
Will this be a bad system for hot and humid places? Hate the feeling of having a wet cloth on my head.
I wore it for 10 days in the Caribbean where it was 90F every day, and it was fine
Ops just realised it’s called a Tyler system
its a glue-on wig bro! what system?!?!
Yeh sure call it what you want 👍 Wig, system, toupee, who cares? 🤷♂️

Ok interesting. I found mono really uncomfortable. Did she not mention lace or poly?

@Lemon-squeezer definitely ask her. You want to be getting one that you find comfortable and works with your lifestyle!

@Lemon-squeezer yes Tyler is a really great beginner system. Remember if you don’t like the mono there is tonnes of other bases out there 🙌
