Actually, the lyrics are about Fallen Angels: Angels descending from the sky to mate with mortal women (the Biblical Watchers/Grigori). Originally depicted as physical beings capable of mating with humans in the apocryphal book of 1 Enoch, they were later depicted in the Book of Jubilees as spirits capable of possessing the bodies of men and projecting their celestial nature as mental images to the wives of those men. Literally, "Sex by proxy".
