    Hey Jeffrey, thanks so much for this VoiceLiner video. Would you please clarify why you name the file with tomorrow’s date? I want to export to Obsidian in markdown format. Do you simply Cut and paste the content tomorrow from the exported tomorrow daily note and then paste the content in today’s daily note or am I missing something here?

    This was helpful Jeffrey, thank you. However, where do you find the audio files themselves that get imported to Obsidian? I see the text but not the audio, which allows me to process for accuracy.

    Very interesting tool! Since people often to pop up ideas while they're just talking a walk. lol

    Hi Jeffrey, thank you for the video! One question: How did you manage to have special characters like "hashtag" or "underscore" rendered instead of transcribed? Didn't work out for me...

    • @JeffreyWebber
      @JeffreyWebber  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Lorenz, There are a few tips that might help.
      1. Try adding the tag at the end of your note instead of the beginning.
      2. Say "Full stop" before speaking your tag. Start by saying hashtag then you can use words like underscore as well.
      Give that a try and let me know if it works.

      @@JeffreyWebber Unfortunately not. The "full stop" would also be transcribed, as would "hashtag" and "underscore".

      @@JeffreyWebber Unfortunately, doesn't work for me either. No matter what I speak, it translate the wording literally. Also, no capitalization whatsoever. No response on these items from the author either. Without the ability to add a "#", this is basically useless to my workflow. Any other ideas? What language version did you load in? FYI, I'm running this on the latest version of Android.

      @@leezaretsky5491 Hey Lee. I am using an Apple iPhone. I didn't make any special adjustments to the app. Perhaps it's a difference based on the operating system the app piggybacks off of for translation.

    If I use their "backup to Google Drive" feature. .does that work similarly to exporting it.. since my logseq folder is in Google Drive

      Hey Jerry, I'm not sure. Let me know if you give it a try and it works. Thanks!

      @@JeffreyWebber looks like you can't even pick the folder for the backup .. so that's not going to work.

    Can you use Voiceliner on Apple Watch?

    How did you change the date format in Voiceliner to match your obsidian setting?

      Once you click to add a new outline, you can click on the title to freely edit it.

    I am curious to find out how you would integrate the Voicliner note into your daily note if you are using Templates

    • @JeffreyWebber
      @JeffreyWebber  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Murray, I currently don't use daily templates, but I was playing around with it and found a process that could work.
      1. Before opening up Obsidian in the morning, export your Voiceliner notes from the previous day (that has today's date as the file name).
      2. Open Obsidian, and open up today's daily note page, which was loaded through Voiceliner
      3. Manually insert your Daily Note Template
      If you open Obsidian first, then Voiceliner will save the exported file as a second version of the daily note page.

      @@JeffreyWebber Brilliant, thanks so much. I will give it a go.

      Hey Tansy, It's so when you send the previous day's notes to your system, they show up on the current days page. That way you don't have to go back and forth between two different daily notes pages.

      @@JeffreyWebber I think I'd prefer to upload them into some Page called "Encounters" or similar, and then in Logseq Drag-and-Drop the blocks I want to the Journal.
