When I listen to this, I imagine a scene: In a bar with live music, an young band is about to play another song, when, suddenly, an elder drunk man (between 40 and 50 years old) take the microphone from the vocalist and starts to sing a known song and the band play, as well. And the vocalist, very surprised, allows.
I see a lot of people crapping on this song but personally I love it. People’s main issues are: it’s too happy for the start of the 4 great Ninja war. One it’s Naruto he’s always happy so of course it’d be happy and two the lyrics translated actually work with it. Another big complaint is that the visuals are bad. I think y’all need some contacts this is one the best openings visual wise to me. They put their heart and soul in it and you just take a dump on it. Also if it’s so bad I’d like to see you all do better.

Laking09 _ the war wasn’t that serious and the tone wasn’t either until everyone was fighting madara and Tobi together. It was mostly about learning life lessons by fighting old friends and enemies. Nobody died
EVERYTHING ! ! I don’t mind having some light hearted moments during the war but the beginning was a crucial moment that should’ve hyped us up for a war between the great 5 nations and Madara
The opening that got everyone hyped af! Obito, Kabuto, Naruto, Reanimated enemies and comrades from the past, the whole Allied Nations, all these scenes themselves made us go crazy and it delivered beautifully.
The fact that Fu was in the Chunin Exams during the two years that Naruto and Jiraiya were training makes seeing her brought back as a soulless shell all the more heartbreaking. She was such a lighthearted, friend seeking goofball that if she and Naruto had met face-to-face, I have no doubt they would've been best friends instantly. Not to mention, seeing those two go head to head in the Chunin Exams would have been epic in every sense of the word. Though, she seemed to have more control over her Tailed Beast during the Chunin Exams, and I still don't know how she died. Maybe those filler episodes will unravel that mystery for me.
billyjack456 That wasn’t my point. Jiyuu No Tsubasa only really sounds like an anthem at the beginning, which is why I compared the beginning to this opening. Even if, the song doesn’t even sound _that_ depressing, it sounds more like you’re ready to fight.
