Watching all damn near 20 hours of this after finishing the game myself has been so therapeutic during this finals week. Thank you Marcus you gave me a little escape from the insanity that has been my life these past 2 weeks.

I like how Insomniac didn't even try to make a in game reason why the Avengers don't show up to help Spider-Man in NYC. At least in the Arkham games the reason none of the Justice League showed up in Arkham Knight was because the Arkham Knight said if anyone stepped into the city to try to help Batman he would blow up all of Gotham which would mean killing thousands of people and causing a ton of damage to the city.
They really shouldn't have introduced the other heros in this universe, because yeah no, the excuse of "There handling bigger threats" is running dry, especially when there are other street tier heros not doing anything, (Punisher, Defenders, even black Panther to a small extent)
And ? Even if Scarecrow/Arkham Knight had beaten Batman, the Justice League would go after them So their plan is flawed anyway. And, Nightwing leaves his city to help Batman, so?
Even if you discount the Avengers there are *so* many NYC heroes these two games imply are active. We indirectly meet Dr. Strange and Wong in this one, and then there's hero-specific locations such as, of course, Avengers Tower and the Baxter Building, Jessica Jones' detective agency, Daredevil's lawfirm (I think), and the Wakandan Embassy. I know that it would be very silly for a Spider-man game to suddenly be swarmed by all these heroes, but it's still pretty silly that they don't bother to even vaguely address what they're up to at all.
Plus you can at least make an excuse for DC anyway that most heroes occupy different places and Gotham is kinda Batman's territory. Like I can buy that Superman is probably dealing with Doomsday or Lex or someone in Metropolis or that Hal Jordan is fighting Nekron in space. When it comes to Marvel though, there are SOOOO MANY MFS WHO LIVE IN NEW YORK. Fantastic Four, Avengers, Doctor Strange, even the smaller superheroes like Daredevil. That's not even counting X-Men who are right down the block or Punisher cuz I'll give the game benefit of the doubt that they don't exist in the universe (yet). Like you ain't gonna tell me that ALL OF THOSE guys are dealing with some multiverse-level threat at the same time. Like what, did Shuma-Gorath, Doctor Doom and Thanos all team up or something? What fucking threat is there which prevents every CANONIZED superhero in New York from even lending a hand to Spidey

i dont like the antivenom suit, i found it kinda ugly specially arround the eyes (also some times the eyes just look like framings and it is disturbing to look at it that way). But the only thing i didn't like in miles new suit is the hair showing, if you want to hide your identity, you shouldn't show your hair, especially if you wear the same hairstyle with and without the suit, it is just dumb. Besides the hair thing, and the fact the suit is an adidas ad, it looks ok, people just exaggerate a lot
Hair thing is whatever to me. Would be boring from an artistic perspective if all superhero masks were "realistic" and completely cover most of the head.

The problem is with Miles’ haircut, not the hair sticking out of the mask. A lot of Black fans, myself included, didn’t like the dreads but didn’t really have to think about it since his entire head was covered by his mask… only to then have a pretty weird costume that also shows his haircut forced on us for the last few parts of the game

said the same thing about miles new suit, the first one is perfection, modern yet with colors and vibe, this one is too overdesing with not a good balance of colors, makes me feel the same i felt when i saw justice league flash suit, and pre end game mcu suits
My problem with gameplay is spidy has super strength but it still takes 5+ hitd to take down even the weakest enemies its messed w my immersion in spiderman ps4
I've gotten the block glitch too, but in my case i made it happen by accident, i was downloading some modded suites in to the pc remastered version and i turned into block( hehehe ). also something i wanna add is that the pc remastered version, i was able to download and play a tasm 2 suit that looks way more beautiful then what we got in this game. just saying. same goes for the raimi, the modders did it better.
You know it’s incredibly funny how because of the amount of time you spend complaining about you game you could make someone think you don’t like it, but you do lol. It’s what’s charming about you.

I wish there was a way to customize the suits a bit more. The third game really should have a full suit building mechanic. Can/should obviously be totally optional. But I really would like to just customize stuff like the material of the suits. And I would also love for stuff like the webwings and DockOck arms to be only possible on certain designs. If you're going classic Red&Blue you shouldn't have DockOck arms also.
Which is weird because the team kept gloating in each interview that the suits in this game would be better than the first game because they have way more customization options. Yet as Marcus shown when you use the abilites they don't change the color to match it like why tf do you still have the Anti Venom powers when your wearing a black suit? which do you not have a backpack when wearing a homemade suit? & why don't they change the colors of the abilites to match the suit?.

I find it hysterical that the cosmonaut fanbase of all people criticize this game's writing, this dude has shown time and time again that he has the attention span of a goldfish that makes him miss so many crucial moments and story beats, yet basis his criticism off of his shit memory 💀💀💀

@@robonthecob6920 fair, but it's not really that Long of a mission, just a cute side mission to for Hailey, MJ mission is trying to make her out of character by making her into John wick basically, with boring gameplay which you can run up to the enemy and chain combo them, and the last mission plays like a bad last of us clone, especially when it was the most pointless, miles could of got the the rock, he would of been faster and had a easier time, instead we got to play as mj, only two MJ mission was good imo, which was the house one and the running away from symbiote Peter One
I’d argue the “good writing” is more so “they’re not really trying anything new” it’s the same old shit we’ve had and seen before because it worked once
I don’t think it’s bad writing. I think it’s *fine*. It hits all the necessary beats for the kind of story it is telling. But I can envision a version of this story with a bit more bite. As it is, it doesn’t amaze.

The only issue i had with the game was the runtime. Character work was good but with a longer run time it couldve come together greater in the end.
