  • This is an affordable Chinese made one knob reverb pedal that goes by the name of Tone City Tiny Spring. It simulates a Spring reverb. If your amp does not have a reverb pedal this is your solution. Just put it in the fx loop and you are set.
The one knob operation is sufficient to get up and go with it.
It can deliver a lot of 'verb from mild to immense soundscapes.
    I really dig it.
The switch is a bit loud and you can definitely hear it when you turn it on but I think this is more of a "set it and forget it" type of pedal.
You can find it at Andertons in Europe, or Riff City Guitar in the US.
Or you can check out their website here: www.tonecityaud...
If you have any questions or suggestions please let me know in the comments section below.
    Thanks!

I don’t know how springy it is but I love the sound

This sounds nothing like a spring reverb. Maybe a hall, but actually sounds like a chorus in the clean part of this demo

It's not a traditional spring, I agree. And when going past 9 o'clock on the knob it starts adding some modulation.

Don't get me wrong, I actually think it sounds really good, just probably an unintentional result by what they were going for. It reminds me of the danelectro cool cat sound.

Yea, it does sound springy, but why is it pitch shifting like a tape echo??... It seems like they just took any reverb effect and threw it in there, or accidentally took the wrong algorithm or whatever. I wish it didn't do the pitch warble. - So, by the way, are you saying the pitch shifting only happens past 9 on the dial?... Or just more noticeable? - It starts to become more noticeable past 12, and beyond that it starts to sound drunk...
This thing is the equivalent of buying cheap plug-in emulators, even though the quality in general is good. They just come out as "nice try" products. But for the price...

Thanks for the review. The pedal really sucks, though.
