I wanted to mention this but forgot (as always 🙈😀) - Compared to Ukraine in Germany there are no fences. Ukrainian people have big fences. Maybe it’s consequences of our Soviet past and people just want to have some privacy…
I miss Kyiv too. There isn't a part of Ukraine I don't miss. The peace and quiet and rough around the edges of Ukrainian village appeals to me. Good luck during your stay in Germany, Vita!
Hey Vita and family! I'm very glad you managed to get work using your high-level educational credentials, even temporarily is good in these times. Well done, splicing your old film stock with the new to contrast-compare village life in the two countries. That's an excellent example of recycling. Very practical. I have no idea what the shoes in the garden are about. Maybe someone was being unique. The dwarves may be related to an old belief in spiritual beings who live in the garden. The pragmatic approach of planting edible things in land close to the house, here in the States we call that edible landscaping, if it's done in the ground. If it's in pots, we call it container gardening. Bright blessings and Slav Ukraine! 💖
It was not different in Germany until well into the 1960s. These differences do not show cultural differences, but different states of development. If things go badly for Germany in the future, at some point German villages will again look like Ukrainian villages do today. If things go well for Ukraine in the future, it will one day look in the villages there as it does in Germany today.
I agree completely. There are also some rich areas in Ukrainian countryside with huge expensive houses where people instead of cucumbers and potatoes have flowers. The only difference is that we don’t have all these decorations, statues, figures etc
Hi Vita ,glad you and your family are safe and hope this war will be over soon so you can retune home soon, look after yourselves, love to you and your family

I really laughed when I read your comment about Fedya not liking you. I’m sure he thinks “what in the world have these crazy humans done with me!” It’s so interesting to see the differences in lifestyles between German and Ukrainian villages (we call them towns). Here in Texas, our towns are more along the lines of what you see there in Germany. Many people (myself included) choose to live in smaller communities because employment opportunities are available whether you live in big cities or small ones. I am fortunate in that my business is state-wide and I don’t have to live in a big city (and do much of my work remotely, anyway). Living in a rural area (I live just outside our small community on 100 acres) is so peaceful and relaxing. I wouldn’t change it for anything. I think that many others have also figured that out and are moving out to rural areas in droves. That plow you mentioned in the first of your video looks like it is a cultivator. While in the Hereafter there is severe agony, and forgiveness from Allah, and acceptance. The life of this world is nothing but enjoyment of vanity.
Quran: Al-Hadid (57:20)
In this verse of Quran I see Germans and westerners, they love plants, they are disbelivers. I everytime ask myself how Muhammad which lived 1400 years before in desert new those things about plants? In desert there is no plants? I never been in Saudi Arabia, i dont know. Anyhow German gardens with beautiful plants, they like them so much😊
Yes, Germans don’t grow potatoes in their gardens. Ukrainians do.🙈😁
@@ThinkUkraineBecause of that Ukrainians are not disbelievers 😂😂😂
Ukrainians are better people. Germans love useless beautiful plants.
