I expected this thing to be next to useless because it has no ATGM's. Meanwhile, Bo eats 2 ATGM's and an anti tank shell and slaughters the enemy team in droves in the first 3 minutes of the video with it. Definitely picking it up now
The 9040B came in at 8.3 w/o HE-VT, so it was in a similar spot. Now it got pushed up to 9.3 lol. It and this PUMA have trade-offs against one another, but they really are similar in performance and role. Abuse it while you're able, because I doubt it'll stay this low for long.
Playing anything from like 8.3-10.0 is cancer. I've been trying to grind the Israeli tree with the merkava 2d and even if I kill one of them there are 3 more coming up right away and they delete my barrel in a single shot. Or if there aren't any others nearby the guy I killed just comes back in a g91. The killfeed is just bagels and pumas murdering everything with occasonally one or two dying and then a g91 getting a few kills. The only reason I've won matches are when I get paired with Germany or because like 70% of the german playerbase only cares about kills and ignore the objectives.
11:46 what happening is you just drive straight towards them, completely absorbed a shot that logically (to them) should have killed you and not only did it NOT kill you but it also turned you into a rolling fireball that then STILL refused to die, whats happening is probably a lot of confused screaming on the enemy team.
When you guys started talking about ambulance racing I just thinking of the old Britain top gear when they did a ambulance challenge. But keep up the good work Bo and the crew and stay safe
It's the 9040B all over again. That thing came in at 8.3 w/ no missiles or HE-VT for AA. Still, it stomped so hard it went up to 9.0 (then was given the HE-VT shells). The 9040B has better AA capabilities and is smaller, but this thing is much more survivable due to it's spacious size and armor. The firepower is similar as well--9040B has better pen and faster rof, but has to load each shell one by one once the ready rack is depleted, while thing can fire off an entire belt at time. If the 9040B (and other SWE ifvs) can be so high, expect this thing to shoot up hard in BR in the coming months. I imagine we're going to see 8.7 at least if not 9.0. So I encourage everyone with access to this thing to abuse it while you can lol.
If they do that they'll need to change the stock ammo, it's 75% HE and 25% AP with 80mm of pen. Essentially rendering it impossible to grind. They will also have to reduce the ammo rack chances. Rn thing gets ammo racked super easly rendering it defenseless cause no ammo.

This thing has become my favorite german vehicle to use simply because its so survivable for an IFV and its APFSDS belts have surprisingly good post pen damage.
This thing confuses me so much, the amount of fire I saw it shrug off and the sheer amount of fire it can throw downrange. It can't take a mbt frontally but find a flank and it's snack time
I've seen them kill MBTs frontally. And even if they do engage an MBT frontally that they would struggle to pen, they can delete the barrel in one or two shots and then have free reign with tracking them. Their front is angled enough that a quickly snapped shot will bounce off them a lot, and shooting their turret does nothing because its crewless and the ammo there has a blowout panel. But usually by the time you can see their gun they've removed your barrel.

Right now this mothefucker just ate apdsfs to side (5mm kinetic energy my ass) - and NO DAMAGE at all. Not even engine or something. Like it didn't pen at all. And most funny thing - when you test this stuff in hangar - it always works. My shot for example showed me that I should kill that engine and two crew members. But when you meet these fuckers in the battle - they just undying. And eat apdsfs like nothing.

In additional to strange events when penetration is achieved and all optics are destroyed but crew sitting in front of these optics untouched - seems there is some additional issues with ERA. It doesn't eat regular AP shells (and for example you need only 70mm of pen to penetrate side and ERA - 25 mm is enough for that) - but for some reason it eats 105mm APDS like crazy. Need more that 290mm of pen. But at the same time you can easily pen it between ERA. While if you hit ERA itself - shell just disappears. Without even destroying ERA.
Reminds me of when the LVT-4/40 was introduced. It was at 2.3 and could slaughter anything it looked at. I think I killed half the tanks I encountered with my .50s alone. Then they moved it to 3.0 and now nobody plays it. Hoping it drops to 2.7.

I feel like where it sits right now It's basically hell for the enemy team. Even when it gets upteried it does just fine 8.7 - 9.0 is honestly where it should sit
Just wish NATO ERA had been kept small like Warsaw ERA, since their ERA are mostly comparable in performance, although Warsaw ERA is only situationally modeled individually in the x-ray, plus the composite+NERA 'belt' the PUMA has isn't modeled in the x-ray like in most other vehicles with composite+NERA. Also the composite screen on the turret roof is marked as RHA unlike the composite screen on the hull roof
This thing has re-awoken the fire of the bagelpanzer these 2 so far are a force to be reckoned with. 8 out 10 battles have been one by a landslide with all of us German mains taking out our PUMA’s and bagel’s.
The racing ambulance game should be those Italian R3 vehicles painted in different ambulance colors and emblems. Winner gets golden eagles or million silver lions.
thats not era that was deleted by the missile, its the pumas armour package. if u remove it, u can transport the puma in a medium sized plane. dont know why it gets removed when hit^^
Who could've thought that putting the vehicle that replaced the Marder at a similar BR to the Marder wouldn't work. Thank god this thing didn't come with its Spike missiles
I have seen games with 6 nations facing germany and guess what,half their team has Puma's and we get owned, between that and the uber jets they have its game over in about 5-8m

Playing 8.3 Russian has been... an experience... since the new update. Literally entire enemy teams of Bagel and Puma.
I love my time with the lightly armored French tanks , they barely stand any chance against these thing when I am forced to engage with them.
finally russia isn't the only country with good automatic cannon ifv's (bradly is decent but not as good as a bmp2m or bmp 3)
