I LOVE your videos so much!! they're so casual and lofi. I'm not a fan of the overly done ones with lighting and fancy mics. I prefer the low key asmr and you're definitely one of my favourites 😊😊
a lot of store bought slimes tend to have that very plastic-y, stiff, fleshy, wet, gross texture. if you ever do this again, i'd recommend one of the elmer's glue brand slimes, or finding a company online (there's lots of small shops with fantastic slimes)! there's also a huge variety of textures you can try. for example, i prefer butter slimes, because they're usually pretty dry but still smooth and spreadable :)

Looool. I used to have a roommate that was apprenticing as a tattoo artist and she had all this fake skin around and I could not stop thinking about it
its PVA, like elmers glue or clear glue. poly vinyl acetate. they use boric acid to rubberize the vinyl, curling the molecule to make them coil together and get springy. older slimes can lose the rubberization over time and need "reactivated" which is when people add more boric acid. glycerine works best when balancing the texture out. its like chewing gum with sugar at the start, looser texture, but as the sugar is removed it gets stiff. the glycerine acts like the sugar. @@SmallSoundsASMR
they sell thick slime like that for cleaning electronics. i think you may have discovered that use on your mic hehe. borax and elmers you can diy your own. @@SmallSoundsASMR
