    suggestion, say if an employee gets a pay raise, then their income for the previous months will also change. I guess a work around is you have to copy and paste the values before changing the hourly rate.

    For Social Security and Medicare - how is rounding handled? I have gotten to the end of the year and been off when calculating the 941/943 IRS Forms. It always ends up being the rounding. Also, is there a sheet that is easily printable for the end of month? Like a pay stub?

    Very informative. I need to adjust. We are 501c3 so exempt from FUTA. I assume we just set FUTA rate to 0. I also have an employee who is clergy hence exempt from any withholding so I also assume I set his percentages to 0. Most employees are monthly and don't get paid enough for WH or IFCA so they only have Medicare. Does the spread sheet check for minimum pay before applying percentages to WH? Also I have one employee who has an annual salary but also has extra income on an hourly rate for another job funciton. How to I handle this. Finally I have someone who gets payed every four weeks but the payroll period does not line up with standard months. Any help on any of these would be helpful.

    How do I know which tax bracket for federal income tax rate to use? I won't know how much we'll make, I can guess but not sure what should go there.

    This is a very helpful spreadsheet especially if one does not have many employees. There is an error (#N/A) somewhere in the spreadsheet that does not allow flow-through into the Employer Payroll Taxes sheet. In the individual months, the totals on Line 529 for the self-populated cells show #N/A. The formula looks correct, however, the Totals cells show an error. Maybe I am doing something wrong? Please advise. Thank you.

      Hi! You won't send this spreadsheet to the IRS and city, but you can use the totals to fill out your tax form, i.e, gross wages paid, FICA Taxes collected, etc.

    How do you handle changes in pay rates during the year? If you change a pay rate, won't it mess up previous payroll periods?

      Had this same question, what I did was update the the Straight-Time Hourly Rate on the Set Up Employee Data and then override (delete) on Straight-Time Hourly Rate prior months or paydays of pay increment. It does not affect you tab for Year-to-Date Payroll. Hope that helps you out

      Hello! You'll need to overwrite formulas in Column C of all the monthly payroll tabs with the new rate. Or you can create a new one in the Set up Employee Data Tab with the same employee name but a differentiator added on, i.e., "Pay Increase1"
