My Pops had one. Way dark blue. Automatic. Black interior. My favorite car.

Very nice car! I'm more of an old school guy when it comes to old school cars so his interior would not be my dream but that's what makes this hobby so fun - we all have our own dreams when it comes to our fun rides.

That color is AWESOME ! Dude is probably retired but he definitely could have a retro business if he desired. Great video bro, keep’em coming.

64 Chevelle Malibu. Love this car. Bought one used in 70. Silver, 6 cyl stick. 6 months later the Chevelle was sporting a modified 68 302 Z28 motor, Pontiac Muncie 4 speed, 66 GTO posi rear with 3.90 gears. Hooker headers with a complete exhaust out to the back side. Painted 68 Caddy Nottingham (emerald) green [green and silver interior] . Great street machine. Had the car for 10 years before I sold it. Selling it was a mistake ! Wish I still had it !

Nice ride Brad! I own a ‘64 Malibu SS w/ Ride Tech coil over system. Your going to love it. What people don’t realize is you can’t build a 64 Chevelle out of a catalog like you can a 65 and up. Parts are hard to come by… like the center console, it’s not available repop. That’s one of the reasons I chose to do a 64.
But the biggest reason is I love the square body. Very nice job Brad.

I have a 64 Malibu SS and am finding the same issues. Parts are hard to find.

I'm hunting for a project 64 Chevelle. Everything I've read says parts are relatively easy to find. Summit Racing, H&H, Ausley's, Ringbrothers, OPGI, and even Advance Auto Parts all stock parts for the '64.

He says what I say when people ask about the color of my 64. It was green originally but not this green.

The 64 ss is the only year not to carry a 138 vin. Look it up

We are not sure.... The owner has tried to find out and has had no luck. Anyone know?

Bought it painted. But really worked the paint. Paint is about 12 years

Although I’m trying to get it matched. It does show well. Thanks again

Would been nice to hear the car without the music

Yeah.... We drop the music now in our episodes. For some reason back then we kept it going. Amazing car and owner!

Unless you're keeping it original, SS doesn't mean much. If you're gonna restomod it anyway, just find a car with good body work.
