A nice drive in the country in a classic C3 Corvette. Nice car. Brings back memories. In the early 80's I worked at a local tire dealer. My co-workers brother had a white 76 with red interior. His was an L48 with auto trans. He had white wall tires and we would threaten to install a set of BFG Radial T/A's on it. On at least one occasion he and I had a friendly little race. His stock 76 Corvette against my 77 Trans Am with a 69 Ram Air III engine I bought from his brother. 😁 It really wasn't a fair contest.
The car is a 1977 Corvette Model, Not a 1976 model. The Hood (Bonnet as you call it), steering wheel, Center Console, and outer body emblems are all 1977 Corvette Parts. It's a 1977 Corvette. If you have a Title, and Paperwork and a VIN Number saying that its a 1976 Corvette, The Corvette was probably stolen and rebadged from a '76 junker and sold overseas. :o) Tony K.
Retro Classic Car I think the guy is right, this ain't no 76 corvette, it's a 77 unless you did a lot of part swapping!!!! And yeah, I have time on my hands to spot fraud....and I'm sure I'm way busier than you any day of the week retro....
Nice car. I have a question about the steering wheel, how did you install a 3 spikes steering wheel on a 1976, I am struggling to find one fitting for mine!
