And I love how he gets his point across. I immediately looked up another 30-40 of his videos and now follow him regularly. My favorite GOP senators to watch are him (dead serious delivery), John Kennedy (great comic relief which gets his point across) and Ted Cruz (an over-the-top version of Lankford) a tremendously skilled debater.

Unconstitutional. The Federal Government cannot simply take away constitutional rights from State Governments by passing a law. This would require amending the Constitution, which is also an authority of the States, not of the federal government.
While you're certainly right, the courts do not have a good record of upholding the Constitution in a way that makes any damned sense. There's not even anything in the Constitution that states that courts are the final arbiters of what is Constitutional, yet courts usurped that power and it goes unchallenged. If this bill passes, they'll argue that it's no different in form from the 1965 act, and it'll depend on what justices had for breakfast as to whether or not elections are henceforth federalized.

This fine and persuasive speech should be taught in every high school and college in America. A textbook example of how to lay out and deliver an argument, but also a wonderful treatise on the U. S. I also work with other “immigrants” who were implanted in my state who didn’t have to pass anything to gain citizenship. They’re automatically put on state health care, tax free for a few years, drivers licenses are pushed through, housing vouchers, free food vouchers, etc. They’re driving Escalades, Mercedes and other high end cars. To top that off, there’s a “journalist” who complains that they don’t have the same opportunity when it comes to winter sports such as snowmobiling, skiing etc because they can’t afford it (apparently he thinks that the rest of us get this for free). The same guy also bitches about every holiday in the US because he feels that his culture isn’t represented. Wait a minute. Didn’t he move to the US because where he was at sucked?

And I love how he gets his point across. I immediately looked up another 30-40 of his videos and now follow him regularly. My favorite GOP senators to watch are him (dead serious delivery), John Kennedy (great comic relief which gets his point across) and Ted Cruz (an over-the-top version of Lankford) a tremendously skilled debater.

Unconstitutional. The Federal Government cannot simply take away constitutional rights from State Governments by passing a law. This would require amending the Constitution, which is also an authority of the States, not of the federal government.
While you're certainly right, the courts do not have a good record of upholding the Constitution in a way that makes any damned sense. There's not even anything in the Constitution that states that courts are the final arbiters of what is Constitutional, yet courts usurped that power and it goes unchallenged. If this bill passes, they'll argue that it's no different in form from the 1965 act, and it'll depend on what justices had for breakfast as to whether or not elections are henceforth federalized.

I hope you looked into all of his claims before assuming he's telling the truth. Politicians are smooth talkers, it's kind of their job... And just bc he has charts behind him, says things that he knows will hit close to home with his voters, gives himself a few good sound clips, and says buzzwords that he knows his voters want to hear- does NOT equal facts.
I don't really give a shit about what side someone is on, I just care about whether or not they're provable liars, if they're willing lie (easily, calmly) to people's faces, and how they actually vote on things that matter to me and impact MY life and family's lives. If they tell me they are helping my state with something and then go and vote against that something- I don't keep going to bat for them like a fool. We have to stop with this us vs them stuff bc SURPRISE... NONE of us win, just the politicians. But that's just me.. 🤷♀️

This fine and persuasive speech should be taught in every high school and college in America. A textbook example of how to lay out and deliver an argument, but also a wonderful treatise on the U. S. Senate and American governance. The filibuster is one of the many things, but an important thing, that make America the great, great country that it is.

I don't work. I am retired age 63. I listened to every minute also! At first I thought "43 MINUTES!? NO WAY!" But he was so CALM, and made his points so eloquently that I was glued to the screen!

Burlington, VT is allowing noncitizens to vote! In my opinion that is suppressing the vote of naturally born Citizens and the Citizens that went through the process of becoming legal Citizens.
Non citizens VOTES are null and void. Vermont you're a corrupt government to even think about allowing non citizens that privilege. Voting comes with the completion of the required citizenship,processs, from start to finish. Otherwise all I will say is Welcome To Amicubamexzuela.

As a legal immigrant who paid money for processing my documents I cannot vote, until I become a citizen, unlike a bunch of illegals who actually broke the law by trespassing the borders and are having a free ride paid for by American taxpayers. That is offensive.

I also work with other “immigrants” who were implanted in my state who didn’t have to pass anything to gain citizenship. They’re automatically put on state health care, tax free for a few years, drivers licenses are pushed through, housing vouchers, free food vouchers, etc. They’re driving Escalades, Mercedes and other high end cars. To top that off, there’s a “journalist” who complains that they don’t have the same opportunity when it comes to winter sports such as snowmobiling, skiing etc because they can’t afford it (apparently he thinks that the rest of us get this for free). The same guy also bitches about every holiday in the US because he feels that his culture isn’t represented. Wait a minute. Didn’t he move to the US because where he was at sucked?
James Langford just skyrocketed in my opinion. This is how we should address legislation. Without the news bites and bobble heads. A cool, collected, fact based opinion. One that considers the country today, tomorrow, and 50 years from now. Not my district, today, at all costs. God bless you sir.
