I have this teacher and he said something like, “it’s okay if you don’t do my homework. If you didn’t do it, just tell the real reason why you didn’t do it. I was once a kid like you and I also didn’t like doing homework. Homework is not as important to me as long as you understand the work.” He’s really understanding but if we don’t do homework many time in a row then he will talk to us about it.

Okay, so, fun little story:
My friend in 2nd grade, let’s call her January, had 2 little brother. One was 4 years old and the other was 2. The 4 year old thought that January’s homework was a canvas and decided to scribble all over it with blue, green, purple, and pink swirls. It looked like a masterpiece, it really did, but it was January’s hw. She put her answers in black sharpie and handed it in the next day because she didn’t want to get a bad grade on hw. The teacher returns it the next day and on the paper, at the top right corner, she wrote, “Please do not scribble all over your homework because you didn’t want to do it. You are not in Kindergarten.” 😂
My little brother cut my homework into lots of little pieces and I spent the night trying to put them together because I never had missing homework or didn’t do it. The next day when it’s time to get a stamp on the homework mine is all taped up and my teacher was confused but gave me extra points for putting it back together. Another kid said his little sister took two bites out of his homework and she told him why he didn’t do what was visible he was confused. She would usually give them another paper and have them turn it in the best day but that day she gave him a “big fat zero.” You can say he hated me.
Homework excuses I’ve used that were actually correct:
1. I left it on my seti and My cat peed on it
2. I sent it via e-Mail but it didn’t go through ( happened with like 5 golf my teachers the same day, email was acting up but was fine the next day. The only teacher who actually told me about it was my English teacher “ the best teacher at my school” the others just failed my assignment)
3. My bagged leaked on a really rainy day when I was walking home and all my stuff was ruined so all I had was a notebook and my pencil case

Lmao I remember when a kid said he couldn't turn in his homework because his dog peed on it. The teacher didnt believe him so he brought it in the next day in a ziploc bag, and showed the peed on paper to the teacher.
When I was in 4th grade I forgot to write my science homework in my dairy then the next day my teacher told us to hand over the homework I was confused and then I told my teacher "I am very sorry mam I forgot to write my homework I will finish homework tomorrow"

The moment I went back to my seat I threw up on the floor. And then she sent me to the nurse... (I remember right before throwing up I didn't want to throw up on the desk with my things, or on the girl next to me and ruin her clothes so I threw up on the empty floor because I thought it would be easiest to clean up there. I had one gorgeous but mischievous young boy called Jayden in my class one year and I asked him why he didn't do his homework. He said 'MY WILLY WAS TOO SORE'. But here's an excuse my brother used. "I ate my homework..." Which was true and I can confirm it because he was a freshman in highschool and I was in 7th grade going through my angsty rebel phase (I still am), and I was so frustrated that he got good grades and I didn't so I shredded up all his homework (and I mean massacred it), put it in a cake I was baking (I bake when I'm upset), and when it was done I just let my whole family eat it, and obviously it only took a few second until they realized there was paper in it. So they asked me and at first I acted stupid, but then I told them it was my bro's homework and they were furious.
So yeah my brother told all his teachers that and no one believed him sadly. Still got away with it tho 🤣

I have a story that is the same topic as the video.So i was in school and my teacher handed us paper work .She told us that we would not grade it till another day.So me and my friends did the same.But then the day came to grade the paper.(this teacher was in her 60s) I wasn't surprised that she lost it.So she threw a fit that i didn't find it.this argument on for at least 20 minutes.She took me to the office to get my homework done.Later the women that was watching me called my teacher and said "Your student has not completed anything we are going to swat her." My teacher had no idea she was on speaker at least i was told.But i felt like a cool kid when i saw the paper.My mom said that i shall not receive spankings for the school year.

Telling a teacher “I forgot it” is the best in my opinion. It’s honest, and it you say “I didn’t do it” it makes you seem like you don’t care about the class. Unless your dog actually ate your homework, just say “I forgot it. May I make it up for partial?”

Once something like this happened with me.. in the 6th grade we were in the chapel for our choir practice, the whole choir and the teacher asked us to print out lyrics for the hymn at home. Didn't have a phone back then at home cuz we are a family of three (me, mum, brother) and the only one phone my mum had broke the day before. I said to the teacher from the place I was sitting "sir the phone broke" the whole class started laughing like crazy and I felt like I did a crime, till this moment i don't know if they were laughing cuz they thought i was lying or just my face was very funny.
today our spanish homework was due and when the teacher asked him why he had no homework, he said that his desk must of eaten it because he left it on his desk the night before and woke up and it was gone.

I learned so much for this exam and it was a history exam. I hate history so much so I had to learn everything from the beginning. After the teacher corrected the test, she came to me and said “I’m sorry, I just can’t find it” I was so confused. Like.. how could a teacher forget where she put a test? Especially because she was correcting it with the rest of the tests (22 tests or something and she lost none of them except mine). I told her that it might be in a folder or just on her table at home but she just nodded and smiled. I never got it. Rip test.
