Absolutely beautiful! Very simple, no extra movement or excessive vibrato. You don’t feel it the first time you hear. Watch it for the 10th time. You will be touched by her inner beauty. She makes me cry. Then I tried to play the piece myself. It took me 30 minutes to memorize the piece. Yes, I can play it easily on my Vuillaume violin. You know what; nothing came out close to her sound. I finally realized that it must have taken her 30 years of practice to get that result...
It really touches the heart displaying creativity of the composer by its arrangement of musical notes. It raises above the level of existence towards joy.
I never heard it play at this speed. I like it!! Need to try this at my church one day , love to see the peoples reaction :D Ms.Meyers , you are the best !!!!!!!
I've heard countless versions of this Ave Maria, but this one is perfect, perfect in every way, what a wonderful sensitivity in handling intensity and vibrato, outstanding, stunning. Bravo.!!!
I'm 45 and started learning the violin a couple of years ago. Anne, you are truly an inspiration. Such a beautiful sound. I hope to hear you live one day in Sydney, Australia. Thanks for sharing!
I am SO envious of your vibrato! Especially in the 1st Movement of Lalo Symphonie Espagnole, when you get a crazy vibrato on that high e at the beginning of the piece!
I'm listening to this thinking wow this violin sounds amazing and then see the title says it's a Stradivarius and I'm like oh... Well that makes sense haha
@akguitar1987 Thanks for the explanation. I recognize the piano part as Bach's Prelude in C, but I don't hear Schubert in Gounod's interpretation of the violin part.
@VoopsyMan The original comment and reply are in Portuguese. The comment reads, “Beautiful and engaging. Melody and interpretation.” Which I took to mean, “Beautiful and engaging melody and interpretation.” The reply reads, “Violin, intense and engaging sound. It is uplifting and makes you dream.” I hope this helps!
@bullmad43 yes, she is indeed playing a Stradivari known as the "Molitor" (they all have names) which belonged to Napoleon at one time (didn't know he was a violinist!).

She plays so well with such precise tonality and intensity - this classic is wonderful at any speed...
She gives the instrument a vocal quality with her playing. Overwhelmingly beautiful.
indeed
I cannot leave it and listen five times in one hour. Simply Super.
It’s so nice to see these two friends still working together since childhood
I played this for CM recently, and this video really helped. Good job😀

I really enjoyed Anne's Mozart Violin Concerto No. 3 performance in Seoul, Korea.
This is one of my favorite pieces!! Fantastic!!
Beautiful bow arm and a luscious tone, especially on the A- and E-strings.
Brilliantly played, almost exactly the same as my former violin teacher, who passed away late last year from cancer.
I've heard countless versions of this Ave Maria, but this one is perfect, perfect in every way, what a wonderful sensitivity in handling intensity and vibrato, outstanding, stunning. Bravo.!!!

Muito bom. Excelente interpretação.
The restraint in Anne Meyers playing is exquisite. She is also blessed to be able to play that Strad.
I'm listening to this thinking wow this violin sounds amazing and then see the title says it's a Stradivarius and I'm like oh... Well that makes sense haha
It's not the violin. It's the player, communicating her inner feeling that are unleashed by the music.
beautiful
i love it i wish i could play that too.
@akguitar1987 Thanks for the explanation. I recognize the piano part as Bach's Prelude in C, but I don't hear Schubert in Gounod's interpretation of the violin part.
