The background here is not Japanese, it's all traditionally Korean. They actually filmed this in a film set meant to mimic ancient Korea. The buildings have a similar style to Japanese architecture, but everything down to the dancers in the background is either pulled straight from or inspired by traditional Korean culture

They are in their 20s with the oldest (Bang Chan) born in 1997 and the maknae (youngest, I.N.) born in 2001. If you want to know more about the members I recommend watching the 2 hour "THE COMPLETE 2024 GUIDE TO STRAY KIDS" it's long, but us stays love watching people react to it. It includes names, ages, and other general information about the group/members. Even if you don't react to it I recommend watching it (there's also a shorter version called "A QUICK AND EASY 2024 GUIDE TO STRAY KIDS" but it's not as in depth and leaves a lot of things out).
If you're looking for another Japanese release to listen to I recommend "Social Path" (music video) or "Saiyan" (color coded lyrics, no video).
"Cover Me" is my favorite vocal heavy song. It doesn't have a music video, so do the fan posted color coded lyrics, but there is a fun behind the scenes of them recording it and their song "Megaverse" just search "stray kids cover me recording" and it's the first video (I'd recommend listening to "Cover Me" and "Megaverse" before watching the behind the scenes video). "Domino" has one of the best dance practices (definitely react to the dance practice specifically, there isn't an actual music video).
"S-Class" and "Lalalala" are two of the main title tracks you haven't heard yet (and the music videos are amazing).

Stray kid's song is very unique, creative, experimental, original and organic.
stray kids is a very unique group is the k-pop music industry's self-made and self produced group. I really recommend to watch skz guide 2024 and listen their songs from start of their journey hellevetor to chkchk boom , GAINT to understand them more pls give more attention to their lyrics,beat, composition, Idea behind the song etc. ❤❤❤❤
