Thank you for this tutorial! I've struggled with putting things together with other bag tutorials but you explained everything so much better and I appreciate it! Love the whip stitch too! Wouldn't have thought of that! The only thing I changed is I used fabric glue to seal my knots to keep them from fraying inside the lining. 😊 Have you ever used any spray to keep yarn from staining like scotch guard? I'm not sure if cotton yarn would hold up...
Wonderful, I'm glad it was helpful! Great tips as well...I have not used any protective spray as you suggest, but that would probably work. I have chemical sensitivities, so it wouldn't be an option for me, I would just hand wash the bag if I had any issues. For people without sensitivities that would save a lot of grief!
I'm not sure what the yarn is. I talk about it in the tutorial on how to make the granny square pattern. I got the yarn at the thrift shop and I'm guessing it is a rayon-acrylic blend. The weight would be close to a number 3 light weight yarn. :)
This is outrageously gorgeous!!! Thank you so much for sharing it with us 🤩
My pleasure 😊 Thank you for your kind comment!
Such a beautiful pattern it is. I will try it by using paper rope or cotton macrame rope.
Ooooohhh, that would be amazing! Thank you for your kind comment :)
Very nice! I love cute bags! They are so fun to make!! Thank you.
You are so welcome! I'm glad you like it :)
Thanks a lot for the tutorial

How many yards or meters do i need for this?
Sorry, I am not sure. I used yarn from a thrift store and did not know how much was on the spool.
What is the type of yarn you have used?
